The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Ian, you just hang tight my friend. We've all had a wobble at times and it's a waiting game for us. No war lasts forever and I'm sure that we'll see that sanctions will disappear as quickly as they were put on when it suits the powers that be. Take care mate.
Good luck with the ultrasound Ian. AAA sounds like a credit rating or battery for a big TV remote. Know anyone who has a big TV my friend?? Jokers like Montyboz are best ignored and I have indeed ignored his rubbish from around his 2nd ever post as I didn't like his writing style, all too familiar. Take care Ian and good luck to you and all genuine investors. It's just a waiting game and good things will come.
Tigra, you make some good points but I disagree about the immediate need for news. It's just not necessary when everyone is in a frenzy of Russia bashing. As the BOD have stated the Russian people are hardworking and I'm sure the bay majority are thoroughly decent folk. The media at the moment are jumping on anything Russian and effectively cancelling a whole country and anything linked to it. The BOD have said that we aren't currently affected by sanctions and they're still working, DLA Piper are still working and I'm sure they'll work something out. Bang out news at the moment, for example, a JORC or a new license would have very little effect on the share price and the MM's would bring us back down again quickly if it did rise. If news comes out, all well and good. I'll have to trust in the BOD that they know what they're doing. My die are cast when it comes to this share. I'm heavily invested (for me) and I've averaged up substantially over the last couple of years, so I'm heavily under water like many. I'm happy to wait and trust in the BOD until the heat goes from this situation or there's a peaceful resolution and fingers crossed we don't have to wait long for that (for many reasons). The alternative is to sell up at a loss. I did my research and I'm happy with my investment, hence I don't moan about a BOD who have only added real value to my holding while the MM's and shorters appear to be taking it away. That's how I see it Tigra. We can have a difference of opinion and I thank you for your often fine posts as they add value.
So Tigra, what would you like us to do. Your last 3 posts have made it pretty clear that you think you're being mugged off by the board. What's your advice? Do you have any? Or are you going to keep decrying the BOD while once in a while having a good go at the silly derampers. I used to enjoy your posts but recently I'm not sure what side of the fence you're on.
Keep up the good work Mac. My green bin box is overflowing nowadays with the naysayers and bedwetters. Yes, some news would be good but with all the anti-russian sentiment at the moment I'm not surprised the board is keeping quiet, although our board has done nothing wrong. Hopefully there'll be resolution to this war soon and this bulletin board can get back to our great company and it's great future.
Good video Folio. Making the comparison to the Cuban missile crisis and trying to get Ukraine to join NATO was an excellent point. No wonder the Russians want a buffer. Once all the bluster is done I'm sure the Ukraine buffer zone will remain.
Hi folks,
Just to let you know that Ian is currently in the cooler for 24hrs. Although I rarely post here anymore, Ian and I are still in touch. He says he's going to serve his suspension with dignity and as a badge of honour. He's naughty but he's a loyal shipmate and we love him. All the best. Tiddlor
I can't see Torr deramping over the last few days. Can someone highlight this? By the way thanks Torr for supplying my family with masks at a great price.
