The cynic in me says is was Pi money that took it up early doors and II short money that brought it down. On the day of the trading announcement there was also an accelerated drop into close and then a bounce in the morning. Could get the same today but I could not be sure so have no reinvested. A whole lot more cautious about this one since getting burnt

Near term upward catalyst? That update was it...be careful buying this for the bounce which is what I did a few weeks ago - the shorts can take it lower and make you sweat a lot harder than you expect. Is it worth more than this - yes IMO,but is going to be played with for now IMO.

Well there was nothing new in there, but I think I myself expected after they had looked at the production again those declining estimates might have been revised - clearly not...they need new management to get them out of this hole. Hope that this can recover for all those still holding.

I like the sector and took a look at ITM and VLS recently. Was surprised to see such high market cap (circa £500m) considering no real revenue as yet...but considering where the future lies with green tech I think both this and Velocys are worth investing and could do very well this year.

Not sure Director would have been buying heavily in December if there wasnt significant confidence in the trajectory of the stock in the near term.

Could be wrong but to catch up with peer group SP would still need to double?

Key here is this is highly cash generative and profitable with an entrenched position and value leading sales proposition. These are the type of stocks that usually do ok on a bounce so I took a few this PM.

Shorts are turning the screw here, testing resolve until the trading update and its painful.

Shorts will talk it down and then subscribe to placing for a discounted exit. Only losers are us as usual.

It was a case of: this is what you should have had, but instead have some more stock, algo spews a few more K at us short. Stinks

Suppose a small amount of patience is required. I see it as a fair trade today based on the risks transpiring and as Zama sale may give it a boost in next month and squeeze that 20% short (which in its own right is a joke and does not sit well with me)

If this is a geared oil producer in a low risk geographic region how is it only up 1.7% vs oil up over 3%. Surely should be up a multiple of the oil rise. I have traded and watched this for year and still don't understand it

Exactly...no way this should be moving down today. So means you buy and wait for the market logic to prevail....sooner the better would be nice
