@Prime. As I don’t trade (yet at least!) I’m going to hold off for the moment; I’ve done more small top ups in the last two months than I expected to for my LTH position. Got to max out my cash ISA first. Unless there is a really significant drop in which case it would be rude not to top up.

@Prime. Actually I’ve just checked my screen grab from 0915. The £116 was for an earlier flight (now sold out of course), the 1630 was £55 at the time!

@Stille. No idea re football, the fully booked London to Paris flights today and tomorrow are due to the Eurostar suspension today.

Remaining seats on the only available EZJ flight to Paris tomorrow (1630 LGW) currently at £354. These were circa £116 about 0900 this morning

Today sold out, tomorrow 6 out of 7. Will keep and eye on Sunday. Bear in mind there are about 19 Eurostar services to Paris on a Friday, all with a capacity of circa 900 passengers. So even at a 75% load factor that in excess of 12,000 or about 68 A320s

All 7 flights tomorrow now sold out apart from the 1630 from Gatwick; but expect that to be gone soon.

I’m hoping it doesn’t either, just a punt in case it does.

I’ll think about a name for the dog and let you know.

I’ve put a cheeky limit order in for yet another small top up in the low 480s. I hope it doesn’t trigger but it’s a “just in case” as I have to go out this afternoon. Mid to low 480s have worked well for me over the last few months.

As Eurostar services to Paris are suspended today I’ve just checked and apart from the 1935 from Luton all EZJ flights from London airports are sold out today. Kerching!

I have funds at the ready for another small top up if it gets into sub 490 territory again; not expecting it or wishing it to of course!

Just heard on my local radio (BBC Radio Solent) that Loganair are going to open a base at Southampton, citing cruise ship market but also introducing (well, reintroducing actually) three flights a day to Manchester. EZJ will no doubt add more to SOU in due course if the Glasgow prices of late are anything to go by (sold out again for tomorrow).

@Andy @Prime. For a relative novice I’m feeling quite smug at the moment. I put a small limit order at 482 yesterday and it triggered at 481.9. That’s my fifth small top up in the 480’s in the last few months. Building my LTH rather than trading (at the moment!) and sitting at an average of 372 now. Trying to make sure I keep headroom of at least 100 a share as I build. Small money compared with others on here but, hey, it’s nice money for me, far outstripping my cash ISA!

@Prime. Alicante flight due back in Southampton on Friday. If our friend is on it can I send it your way; I’ll give it a spare cuppa soup to bring for your Sunday dinner!
