UK - Home Trial results expected by end of June. (Could be released any day now)
USA - Activ-2, awaiting if our phase 2 will progress to phase 3 ( this news could also drop anytime now)
International - Phase 3, recruitment ongoing.
Scinv - I think Professor Tom Wilkinson is on it, no need to worry. I think he is more than capable of arranging trials in a manner most appropriate for our treatment. Unless you think he is out of his depth? I think he knows a lot more about interferon than any of us here on this board put together.
Do we have a timeline as to when we are expected to have an update in regards to ACTIV-2 and if we will be progressing to P3?
News on this front has been pretty sparse, so I'm assuming things are on track otherwise we would have been given the boot by now.
Andrewpcapp, the confusion has possibly come about as most of us were expecting home trial news based on results gathered after the 28 day follow up, as was done for the hospital arm however it now seems they are waiting for 90 day follow up to include data in relation to long coivid (90 days was reached yesterday).
Nothing substantial though...
"ACTIV-2, which is focused on outpatients, has since been expanded to evaluate a
combination monoclonal antibody therapy, BRII-196 and BRII-198, as well as three
investigational therapeutics: SNG001, an inhalable beta interferon; AZD7442, an investigational
long-acting antibody combination; and camostat mesilate, an orally administered molecule that
may block SARS-CoV-2 from entering cells."

Corona vaccine trials have been resumed after the exercise was temporarily suspended. at the same time the number of infections continues to rise in several countries around the world.
gggg21 cant see anything new worth of note in this, from my initial skim through only mentions that SNG001 being trialled which we've known for a while, am I missing something?
Saint7, how does the chap who tweeted that know that SNG001 is being used in Kenya? The article linked in the twitter thread does not mention interferons or SNG001 again am I missing something?
If I recall correctly, the Danish were saying the blood clotting issues with vaccines could be linked with the method of how the jab is injected. Dr John Campbell in one of his videos also referenced this and explained there's usually 2 common methods, aspiration and non-aspiration.
Aspiration meaning once the needle is inserted the plunger is pulled back and inspected to see if any blood has been drawn in in. If it has drawn blood into the syringe it means the vaccine will be entering the bloodstream which is not meant to happen and should be reattempted.
Non-aspiration is when this check does not occur and is the more commonly practiced, so some people maybe getting the vaccine injected into their bloodstream which is a possible reason for the blood clotting.
I agree MrCosts, it really is a shame that it is taking this long to progress even though we are a UK company, with UK trials backed by UK health authorities, yet we are still away off from EUA, on top of this it seems that sentiment has shifted dramatically in regards to home trial results being inconclusive due to not a strong enough signal to demonstrate efficacy.
Mainstream media will likely portray this as negative and further damage the SP as we were all expecting results better than the hospital Arm due to the belief IFN is more effective early.
We will then be clutching at Activ2 as our phase 3 is no where near close to completing recruitment.
Even then I'm not sure how we will hold up in activ2, seeing as the cohort is open for anyone above 18 who has tested positive. (not targeted to people with co-morbidities or IFN deficiencies), how do you guys and girls see activ2 playing out after the recent "putting out fires" comment by RM?
I really was buzzing hoping our drug would treat thousands here in the UK and abroad and be part of it by investing.
Please do correct me on any misunderstanding I may have, thanks.
Maybe a daft question but I'll ask anyway, would regulatory bodies such as MHRA/FDA/EMA take into consideration research from independent sources when making decisions to further progress the trials?
For anyone who is interested and not viewed last years September panel including RM - "Therapeutic Strategies to Prevent & Treat Covid 19 Panel"

Mr Joe, RM has already given his talk on the 9th of March the video is due to be published on YouTube on the 8th of April.

Mr Jaffjoon, once again congrats. I came across a name today that I dont see too often and I remembered this post.
I dont wanta throw a spanner in works if you and your partner have already settled on a name but Shanae-Jen would work great for what you have in mind.
Best of luck
totally agree Mr Woodstock, people on this forum are actually encouraging others to keep "light pressure" on the company by emailing them, they are probably already working themselves thin and a bombardment of emails from PI in to their inbox surely will not help help anyone more so a hindrance.
Just pointing out something Iv noticed, since last March 2020 up to February 2021 we have had some form of an RNS from the company consistently at least once a month, so far we have had no RNS/TR1 for March, the SP for this stocks is mainly driven by news, lack of news will result in a likely drop in the SP which we are experiencing. Hold tight Synners you dont wanta be left smelling the smoke once news does arrive.
@theboyg - if results are "not good" they would have been booted out of ACTIV-2 trials by now like other candidates have. The evidence in regards to interferon as a immunomodulator / antiviral is piling up fast. Previous trails and data sets are very encouraging and I'm confident we will see great results in all trials we are in. In terms of when we will see results we have to stick to the timeline that has been given which is - results for HT in Q2 for HT. Yes we all hope for sooner results but if you are banking on that you are just setting yourself up to be disappointed.
