UNIVERSAL Study (Sanofi) - still up in the air if this has anything to do with the UNIVERSAL study funded by Janssen, could it be UNIVERSAL 2.0 now with a drug intervention? Maybe a totally different trial coincidentally with same name? Unlikely as it has Prof Tom Wilko and Prof Gareth Griffiths, 2 of the researchers from the Janssen Trial. Time will tell.

Synairgen have said shareholders will be updated once "key milestones" are reached, what these milestones were not specified. Since shareholders haven't been updated its fair to say none of the "key milestones" have been reached.

Its very concerning for sure that AR is being taken right down to the wire with no notice of AGM. However I came to terms with the paperloss and have made peace with it. I hope we are all pleasantly surprised with some blockbuster deal/JV

Something of note I noticed is the auto antibodies section has been removed from Mirimus homepage. Although you can still access it if you know the URL. Make of it what you will a glitch or purposefully hidden?

The number 1 goal in business is to make money and as of yet for whatever reason Synairgen have failed to commercialise their flagship product in over 2 decades. I really hope that the silence is due to some deal with a BP taking place behind the scenes, with hopes that the deal with said BP will assist getting this across the line. Funds are limited and the road ahead is still long if SNG001 is ever to gain approval for use at home or hospital.

I would have like to have known what these key milestones are, at least then we would have more of an idea what they are working towards , rather than just a simple "trials anticipated to start in H1" which is looking more and more unlikely as H1 is coming to a close.

Bit confusing as the language used in the linkedin post indicates it was a presentation of in vitro data previously shared, this has to be referring to RNS from 24/05/21 right? data from the testing Viroclinics-DDL conducted?

"presentation of our previously shared in vitro data"

However the abstract from the presentation language reads as though porton down conducted the tests.

"In this study we tested the antiviral efficacy of IFN-β1a, in vitro, against a variety of SARS-CoV-2

variants"

Another piece of the puzzle we still haven't had any any clarification on was from the UKRI 22-23 annual report:

Thanks Bryosa, so it was funded by Synairgen, why would they commission this when it had already been done previously, especially when funds are important right now? makes you think something is afoot

What I'm struggling to get my head around is why would UKHSA Porton Down now go through the trouble of re-testing SNG001 in vitro against variants of covid when it had already been confirmed it was effective against all know variants by Viroclinics-DDL in the Netherlands.

Maybe it was UKHSA doing its due diligence to confirm SNG001's virus/variant agnostic properties before supporting with more govt back funding or trials?
