I have overlaid BTCUSD and ARB to try and predict future trading level.
ARB crossed over BTCUSD in Dec 2020 and rose metorically.
Since crossover BTCUSD has risen approx 166%.
From crossover ARB rose to approx 1100%.
Currently ARB resides 805% above its crossover level.
To revert to pre-crossover relationship would require -80% correction from todays price.
This would indicate something between 40 and 50p.
Sorry for my analysis everyone. I am in the same boat having put money in this pot having bought in at 288p.
Thankfully this was a only speculative holding for me.
ARB was obviously driven by hype (some of the posts here over thee past weeks convince me of that) and BTCUSD price which in itself is driven by hype and social media. There is no physical commodity to trade. You can't see, touch, taste or smell BTC.
I should have read the signs when even ARB CEO said he could not explain such a meteoric rise.
I'm a hold now but resigned that I may never get back to 288p.

I bought into MAFL in Jan 2020. Back then there seemed like lots of noise about the company moving forwards. I was optimisitc about steady share price growth. Since then I'm 20% down. It still has a huge spread despite an interview where there was clear intent to improve liquidity. It's like watching paint dry. On the positive side I still have confidence that this will grow upwards when it does I will get out at profit and invest somewhere else.

Good point C8. ISAs yes. Good way for UK citizens to invest TAX FREE. I missed the right point to dip my cheap Lidl biscuits into the PETS tea and of course it heas now broken up. Could be pump of retail money. Watch for pump and dump which would cause marked retrace. Good Luck everyone.

I've just sold my holding for a nice little profit. Seems to be trading within a distinct channel so I sold at the top of that and I now look for something with a bit more volatility. Having said that it will probably break upwards now. LOL GLA

This vaccine is a non-profit venture for AZN. The share price seems to be affected heavily by the sentiment on it. Maybe because if they are supplying it at cost and they can't ship it then they don't even get this return.

The unelected EU cartel have proved how stupid (and boring zz) they are again. They put down the AZN vaccine and fuel the misplaced paranoia in their citizens whilst at the same time not wanting it to be exported to the UK. IF the AZN vaccine is so bad then stop pratting around with talk of export blocks and let UK have it.

Couldn't have those rebellious Spartans in the UK being successful at something. Looks bad you know..

Just seen an RNS. Steven O'Connor purchasing 750 @7196p. Nearly 54k worth. Director purchase gives some confidence to me that LSEG drop may be reaching the bottom.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why Deutsche downgraded this yesterday from 9100p to 7000p? My opinion is that LSEG will retrace as its a solid stock and has served me well in the past. Just curious...

17 Feb not 17 Mar. Oops.

Here's a little doggie biscuit for any Chums to dip in their tea...The last time that the converging wedge lines met was 17 Mar coinciding with an increase or around 6% relative to the previous day's close. I took a nice profit at that point and continue to wait for the right point to buy back in. Now PETS seems to be experiencing a repeat of this pattern meaning that 18 Mar might be a good time to buy for a modest profit and more money to buy my Lidl biscuits. small transactions like this reek of MM. Not surprising given how much LSEG has risen recently. My feeling is its overdone and I'm contemplating buying back in.

I bought my ULVR in Oct 2019 for £46.15 as a long hold safety stock which would also give a dividend. Instantly started losing money. It popped into the green for a very short while which I thought was the start of something. Now it seems that they are heading towards the Covid March 2020 dip despite sales in cleaning products being at an all time high. Reckitt RB. follows similar pattern. Both are couterintuitive. You'd expect both of these to be outperforming expectations but both shares offering very poor yield. Not expecting mega growth year on year but not to see my holding dwindle down. Come on BoD sort out this shower...

Anyone know why DC. is rising? Rush on flat screen tellies? I have a feeling that it will come to light that sales of electronics and home electrics will be booming as people fit out their new kitchens and lounges that they have DIY’d. Dunno maybe....

It’s touched the lower BB line and then the mid BB line. I’m looking for it to touch either again for re entry. This could be at 385p or even stronger would be 370p. Look over multiple timescales to confirm and also use MACD and RSI. Usually this would be followed by run upwards. Because this has dropped my target would be 410 to 415p. Anything over that is a bonus. DYOR GLA

The landscape continues to change and sentiment is affected by statements regarding the release of lockdown measures. As such my assessment and techniques are also fluid. I use bollinger bands, MACD, RSI and others across multiple timescales depending on whether I am trading or investing. 415p for me was based on the mean line of a strongly converging wedge. It could have broken upwards but has decided to drop. But it’s all a bit of a judgement call and gut feel in all honesty. There is no perfect system. If there was we’d all have Buffett as our surnames. Good luck in your investments.

Sold out this morning for a small profit at 397p having bought in at 379p. It seemed stuck this morning but now it’s crossed the 400p barrier it will most likely go up to 415p. Hope it drops so I can buy again but equally happy if you folks make a bit if it rises. GLA DYOR
