A bit of profit taking today after a few days of upwards movements. BME was up 3% this morning and is down about 2.5% this aft. Slight pullback before resumption of the trend? My opinion only. Good Luck All.

Waterford Finance and Investment Ltd. are on Companies House (Reg. 03100777). According to the CH records Mr. Alexei Kroujkov, a resident of Cyprus appears to be the only active director, Mr. Michael Kroupeev having resigned in Oct 2005.
I strongly suggest GPX shareholderds to take a look at the CH website and look up the history of active and resigned directors of Waterford. There are a lot of Guernsey trusts and Ltd.s which have been dissolved over the years. I'm tempted to take the money as this take over feels like a pathway to break up and sell off of assets rather than take over to keep Gulfsands as a going concern (My opinion only). I feel that we shareholders are just a written off liability which is necessary in order to facilitate the dissolution. I had hoped that the GPX BOD would refloat into AIM and that we would have been rewarded for our patience. I only had about £1000 invested and I feel bad for those who had significantly more in GPX. Comments/opinions welcomed.

Hi Ali, thankyou for posting this and citing your sources (most commendable, so few posters do that). My feeling is that IOG is off the radar of MMs at the moment. The doubling of market cap and hence sp would be welcome but we all should be aware that this would probably spark the interest of MMs with inevitable shenanigans that come with it. I hope not but seeing it too often at the moment in a variety of my holdings. It got so bad that I resorted to taking profits prematurely on many otherwise long term investments rather than see them 'pumped and dumped' by MMs. Would love to see the big rise you predict but let's be careful, watchful and keep the profits coming to the hands of us IOG long term RIs. Michael Kroupeev is not considered to be an independent director of Gulfsands by virtue of his interests in Waterford. Mr. Kroupeev will not play a role in the Company’s evaluation of the terms of the Mandatory Offer."

So Kroupeev buys GPX for a song and shareholders get peanuts. Nice work if you can get it...

Hello fellow GPX shareholders. I've got 2050 shares which I have held onto since they delisted from AIM. I am being offered 4.035p per share which would give me £82.71. Waterford Finance & Investment Limited seem to be taking over GPX and the letter I have received appears to be advertised as a 'potential opportunity for Shareholders to exit GPX following its delisting from AIM in 2018.' I would prefer to hold onto my shares if possible and wait to see what happens. The letter is a bit sketchy in terms of Waterford's intentions. They could be buying GPX to sell of its assets. Similar to LEGGGSY's post, what happens if we decline the offer? Do we forfeit even the meagre offer? I will try to find out but would also appreciate comments from other shareholders.

I bought into BME on the latest dip after watching this for a while. My local store is always busy and customers are queing to get in. The surge in DIY and Gardens should do it no end of good. Do we think it can get to 600p? Good Luck All.

Would love it to be a double bottom but sadly don't think so. I'm seeing a double top. Look at 17 Feb and 3 Mar. The second peak is slightly lower than the first. Second peak occurs as buys try to outdo sells but eventually sells win out. Textbook stuff.

Hello IOG chatties. A question...Do you feel that there is a corrolation between IOG and commodity price? If yes, which commodity? Natural gas to USD would not be relevant as it's not a market for IOG gas. I'm trying to predict the future trend and IOG volumes are too small so looking to commodity. I'm nicely in the black here and my strategy is HOLD. Can't wait until IOG start producing from the latest well and getting revenue. BTW IOG seems to be under the radar of the MMs as the recent rises seem proportinate and not overcooked. No pumping and dumping here. Contrast this with another stock ARB which was driven by hype and is now falling like a stone with obvious MM manipulation. Good Luck All. DYOR.

Good point u01gjot. Let's keep the positive vibes going. There are a lot of people hurting and hoping. It will return up. I'm looking at the way ARB has invested in the Texas facility as an indicator of sound management. For big investors here its going to be a case of sit and wait. I agree with Takayama too. Like an almost empty A320 swooping in and out of the clouds, JET2 has been trading between around 1200p and 1490p since Nov 2020. Opportunity to buy at lower limit. I'm feeling that this will break upwards eventually and there is huge potential once normal service resumes. I'm placing an orders to buy in around the lower limit. GLA DYOR

Wait for the bottom Matt and average down. Question is...where is the bottom? I'm gonna hold too. Let the MMs play their game and then buy in. This stock is classic 'pump and dump'. Get a load of RI's to invest. Hype it up then Milk, milk, milk. It will bottom but hold on. Seen it so many times...

Nearly 9000 trades and spread of 3.75% tells me all I need to know. By contrast I have a stock which has 24 trades and 1.85% spread. MMMMMMMMMMMMM

Hi Brel, I couldn't agree more. I bought my first trench at 13.4p last year and then when it dropped at 11.9p. Now that ask is 10p I might top up to average down. Too late to buy in today but let's see what tomorrow brings. I'm a long term holder as I see potential for long term growth and I have confidence in the steady hands on the BOD. This was a modest speculative placing for me so not too much at stake. Good Luck All.
