Hello @Contrarian. I did not buy as the share price dropped through 2970p and I prefer to wait for the bottom which has got to be near IMO. I’ve already got a decent holding having averaged down twice already. I believe that this will do well as leisure reopens. GLA DYOR

Quite right Bankfool. Currency is subject to a countries monetary policy. Normally a board of grey suits advised by a multitude of statisticians, economists and civil servants. Boring but stable...BTC is subject to media hype and Twitter. Exciting but very volatile. I actually like following BTC and have a small holding in ARB as a speculative punt. I like the banter here and chuckle at the various comments. My feeling is that ARB will come back but could take a little time. It's slow to climb the mountain but coming down is quick. BTCUSD is in classic double top mode. I don't want it to go down but feel that it has a fair bit further to go before it rises again, most likely to even higher highs. ARB will follow although it appears that the troughs are a bit softer than with BTCUSD. GLA DYOR

Not sure why the dip on a lot of stocks over the past couple of days. PETS has surprised me. The first dip last week surprised me as I thought this would keep rising after the convergence. Then it dropped by quite a lot over 2 consecutive days. All I can put this down to is holders selling to put funds into travel and leisure stocks which have risen dramatically on the back of Boris's announcement and piling into cryptos, ARB and CRL. I'm confident it will rise back above £4 soon when the gloss fades off the others and people are once again looking for value. GLA DYOR

I agree bobot2110. I doesn't have any value but you can make money. Like asking what's the value of the outcome of a round of poker or a spin of the roulette wheel. There is no value (maybe the cost of a pack of cards or the wheel and the ball) but people make and lose money. IMO it's redistribution of wealth. All these cryptos are a game for grown ups with the bonus of potentially making a bit..

Just spoke to a friend who is trading BTC and making money. She is basing her buy and sell timings purely on YT bloggers. Nothing else just YT blog posts. That's how random and hype driven BTC and the crypto market is. Roll a dice or a VIP tweet. Same success rate without the need to study charts for price predictions. GLA DYOR

If my modest ARB holding disappears I'll be disappointed for sure (and it would be unexpected) but I can easily afford to lose it. I've lost big time on leveraged commodities in the past by trying to be greedy which does hurt believe me. My advice (take it or leave it) to anyone playing stocks is not to put too many eggs in one basket and never put in more than you can afford to lose. As cryptos have no intrinsic value they are driven purely by sentiment and hence the volitility. Pile in pile out. It's gambling on a volatile which is why I only have a modest stake. It could go up from here or go down. Nobody can say for sure. GLA DYOR.

Hi @Velo. Bought EXPN as a 'safe' stock. I've been very disappointed with it (currently 16.5% down). Now sitting and waiting for it to recover into profit. I would avoid if I were honest based on my experience. Although you could take the view that this is a good time to buy in. Can it get any worse? GLA DYOR
