if it goes into administration those pubs (princesscruises being one) would lose there deposits minimum 6k upto 15k and even more in some cases as its not ring fenced and would be seen as assets of the company. so its in the best interests of pubs for it not to fail and the numpty bond holders of a and b bonds to strike a deal, if anything whats killed the pubs is the smoking ban and cheap booze from the supermarkets(the main culprit) Also who owns the pub and drives it is critical our local(in a village with a club up the road) was on its knees taking just £900 a week a miserable couple ran it. then new couple came in with drive and motivation doing food came in 3 years ago pub takes 5k plus aweek now.

at last a little bit of life in thee old sea dog long may it continue... up up and away (hopefully) nice to see some shorters getting burnt fingers for once.

500 pubs to a property developer who will sell them to the likes of tescos Sainsbury co op etc but in the meantime they will lease them back a short term lift to the bottom line.. another kick in the balls for the local pub then. we will only be left with coffee shops soon

yes they was on November the 5th,,, but not for the whole company only for their loss making engineering part of the company they have earmarked to sell off as soon as they can.. all in the rns results etc, so wont hurt the company as I can see it,

I too wondered where you found the prices for the ahl funds etc , just had a look on the links supplied by mr j dawson(thankyou very much) ok they do look glum but elsewhere looks all ok and if the markets have a good run so should we! kerrching indeedly

ok its a little boring a bit like voda but im in for 150 shares..... its had one takeover approach hopefully sometime next year they will have another## fingers crossed

could punchs poker game with debt and the market turn out to be a winning hand... plenty said to get out at around 10p(friends not people on the bb ) but only just over 1k invested here so no point really just hanging on for a slow recovery but who knows it could be a busted flush yet, fingers crossed mind nevertheless! 40p would be nice and spirt to hit £2 even nicer but that's a bit?long way down the track?
