Probably all the people that have been dipping in and out of Debenhams lately now the shares are suspended need somewhere else to play with their cash.

Well only 30p to go and this has recovered its losses from the day it plummeted to the 380s area after the fraud inquiry!

So if this is still in play that’s two weeks of potential heartattacks and more cash for the MMs to bleed out of us daft investors .. wanted to buy a little more but sticking to what i gambled here .besides the wife’s already gearing up to kick my arse if this sinks he he he

I wonder on the high street across the land . Where there is a Debenhams,sportsdirect,and foot asylum and house of Fraser within a short walk of each other he could potentially put them in Debenhams creating a place to go as youngsters will want there trainers and clothes , of course if it’s under one roof it’s a bonus as less rent to pay etc.

Seeing as Debenhams bb is going to probably clock up a 1,000 posts today or close to it..
How deep are his pockets should he table a firm bid for both companies?

I see they have extended their helicopter contract with survived ... so no sign of trust being lost with partners at this point

Anything below £3 I think is a steal for this company going forward..

Whilst driving massive holes into the high street with their online menace . The way Britain’s shop compared to our friends in America shop is totally different which is why Tesco failed in America( I went into our one in Las Vegas it was dead compared to their Walmart’s etc)we tried to foist on them the way we shop..a massive cost co opened down the road from us in southampton a couple of years ago and it’s made no difference whatsoever in what we take. Hopefully to the britswill be loyal to a homegrown brand like the yanks was to Walmart .. maybe why Asda’s on its arse..
