Well looking back I had 4K invested here sold 3.2 for roughly break even ( lost 1k in debs fiasco) the rest to keep me ticking over and pay for dads funeral costs( he’d never of survived flu never mind covid 19) may as well hold on to what’s left now to the sfo decision although tempted at these prices but thankfully nothing to invest as out of cash .
Even if the sfo was thrown out I’d think it would not effect things the way the market is at the moment..
Although 15% yeild is tempting to say the least . ( probably be cut in current circumstances) so one for the extremely brave or daft as basil brush!

Wow £2 doesn’t seem to far away now .. those that automatically sold at 230 got a bargain at today’s prices .. so the question is will it go lower and or do you buy your shares back and pocket the bonus or invest the lot and pat yourself on the back you increased your holding 5%

Now one good point to note is that I haven’t asked for the shares yet from my save as you earn . So if the ex dividend date say was tomorrow I’d miss out? ( really don’t know to be honest ) so on that note I’m requesting the shares ASAP! Now I did £400 2014 and the following year 2015 I did another £80 at 151p my question is as I don’t know the answer will the shares that haven’t matured qualify for 50p. Or will the option price go lower ?.. any thoughts on that one people

Well with two ships in the world quarantined another that struggled to find a port and coved 19 easily transmissible 2.6 as appossed to 1.3 for flu you can imagine cruises being giving a wide birth fo the foreseeable future .. I’m not invested here but for those brave or daft enough there could be a good opportunity to get in at a lower rate in the coming month or two for a long term hold . But definitely one to sit on the fence and watch for now

Alternatively if you get out at 225 level and the shares continue downward to £2.00 by the time you get your cash, simply buy thesame amount of shares back(( going on a £500 saye you’ll pocket £45k at 225 for20,000shares ,buy them back at £2 will cost £40k and pocket the odd 5k) if you have conviction they will climb back up to 250 level ,
Bought £400 of BT in the end at 138p seeing as the dividend is nearly 11% although that is under threat this or next year,but I’ll leave it there to compound for the kids university fund!

Yes indeed I’m sure boo boo and ASOS had losses and increased losses in their early days and look what happened their it’s no ASOS or boo boo by any standards but their not after that market of fast fashion ( which is changing ) worth a small invest here but not the house .

I sold 400 last week at 256 to keep myself ticking over , if when you took the saye out at 150 5 years ago and they’d said it would hit 250p that’s a 66% profit you’d have snapped it out of their hands ..( like I did but I always predicted £3 just short then ) Also bear in mind the dividend will almost be 10p soon so they will also bear fruit of nearly 6.7% on that £1.50 saye price.. I was contemplating selling 5k and putting it in marks and spencer any thoughts, I went in there today, the cafe was packed, shoppers usually in 40 years up plus bracket. but I’d say 100 in the clothes store 50 in the food hall , plus when their tie up with Ocado gets up and running that’s should give them a boost perhaps maybe they could revisit £2.50 in the future.
The Far East needs a lot of investment to bring it up to speed so they can sell for a good price and concentrate on the home front.

Hopefully a good Xmas and slowly coming up on more and more peopleS radar will see this get to the 30p and build a base . Happy to stay in this for the long term reward

Well I have to say our section manager was slightly pulling her hair out , so I’m sure she relaid it back to the night manager. Who would of relaid it back to the store manager and so forth.. “ well you d think unless they want their promotions.!”
I would convey to the top but already I’ve by passed the night manager to go to the store manager and the night manager branded me vindictive. Not long to my 30 years .so I’m not going to rock the boat until I’ve secured two more things. then I’m unleashing both barrels but drastic will be gone by then.

So they employed 15,000 temps( mainly agency staff) for the 2 weeks before Xmas.
Since they shafted us with getting rid of the staff bonus and overtime is now just the hourly rate.. of the 10 regular staff that work my fresh section on nights NOONE did overtime!!no one!! And just to give you a feel of how god damn useless some of them were it took one guy ALL night just to work 9 cages of juice I’d take 2 hours to do! And 3agency staff took all night to work cooked ham and sausage rolls!! Which would take are regular employee a night.. so basically it took 3 times as much to do the same job £10 an hour to £30 an hour not including what the agency got paid to supply them. Now tell me that’s money well spent? !
Also no canteen now so the Xmas meal turns into a buffet more moral list there too . I want the company too succeed as I want the shares to do well but they’ve well and truly lost the plot with the staff.

One of the benefits is %20 handbags if you own 1,000 shares , now my friend had an idea as his wife loved mulberry to buy her a thousand shares for her birthday. She’s bought about 5-6 since and a laptop bag . So a good saving there.
Alas the wife bought a thousand when they was 320 but hasn’t bought a bag yet..

Wowzers busy day today on the trade front with 50 trades to the usual 10 ish ( not sure about the trade of 8 shares though seemed odd at £1.65!?) so I’m guessing with this cold start to November being the second coldest in 10 years sales of winter clothes are going well.. and that coldest November in 2010 was followed by a freezing December, so hopefully more winter clothes being ordered... and no the wife hasn’t ordered anything yet.. although she came back with 3 pairs of trousers from marks so there’s hope for that behometh yet
