CTC1988, pretty sure the voting figures showed that it had to be them voting against it. A special resolution needs 75% to pass, it was 81% in favour, see below. Would only have taken a few % swing to defeat it. Hence they were so keen on PI's voting as they knew somebody (Queeld?) were voting against. Which does make you think what their point of view is now? strongly suspect still in russian hands but whose? given well documented troubles of Ananiev brothers and associated family.

Resolution 1, a Special Resolution, passed with a majority of 81% of votes cast in favour. Please see the notice of EGM dated 9 April for further detail. This was achieved with participation of close to 65% of issued share capital voting, a considerable increase on the Company's previous general meeting.

Dietch666, it seems to me the company have definitely gone to Nickel as the best option at this time, to sell anyway. It does concern me a bit about MT/Palladium and missing the boat a bit if don't get on with it. As CTC1988 said, what the BOD recommend will almost certainly get voted through by II's and Queeld (who I suspect are as weary as the rest of us). AMC is simply a different kettle of fish and can't compare shareholder bases really.

CTC1988, well the strong rumour, seem backed up by figures, was Queeld voted against last raise. Think BOD knew they were going to that's why they were almost begging PI's to vote in favour. It is about time they repaid some of that loyalty in the opinion of this long term, large share holder anyway.

trouble is we won't hear a thing until a deal is signed and delivered and put to us to vote on in likely an EGM. We will never hear of any tabled or failed bids because the BOD do not have to tell us. If we are close then we sure as hell won't learn a thing at any AGM because NDA's will be like the duck's a rse. They keep telling us Russians assets are being sold but they can never tell us when. Could be tomorrow, could be next year, just have to have faith because this war sure does not look like ending any time soon......give the Ukrainians those advanced missile systems to stick it right up Putin!

Montmuzzard, hope you right on bare minimum but can't see £1.50 in any situation. Fact is anything is worth what somebody will pay for it. I suspect one of reasons this is/was taking so long was BOD were asking a price nobody would pay....than along came the war. Expectations change, as do plans. 20 odd years don't really scale into any buyer's plans. Any buyer's team will be every bit a match for ours without a doubt. Stating the obvious our team have not got anything over the line............yet. 50p? Think over whelming majority would snatch your hand off for that as a top price now. think folk have to realise the difference between "assets sale" and "full company share sale". You really wouldn't want the second option at this time!
