Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Energy security is being sacrificed by this man.The Chinese have stated that they will not compromise on that issue. Unfortunately for Ireland , this means turning down high energy consuming jobs which the IDA competed so heroically for years to attract with inward investment.

Good point Schlum , a lot of eggs in one basket. It's an emotional argument from the Green coalition rather than a logical one. These are not business people .The German Greens have a lot to answer for with destruction a world class nuclear capacity. The wealth that was squandered there is criminal and goes unquestioned.
In my opinion ,Ryan and Co. would gladly pull the whole Government down on Barryroe such is their emotional unreliability.
Now I don't know how true this is but here goes anyway....The father and son puppeteers worked long and hard together and as you can imagine when in confined circumstances they would occasionally fall out. This usually amounted to macho stubborn silence between the two for a day or two. However if somthing important about the business needed to be discussed it could always be done through the character of the puppets they were holding until of course they made up.Brilliant! Everyone's should have a puppet arm....
Sobeit, interesting that Mr Mentons time frame of 90 days runs very close to Rockhoppers compensation schedule.
Last heard that Fossets are the owners of said wagon,RTE used chromaquay for the first time to make the wagon" fly"....don't know what they smoke these days....
Flambo10,here's hoping the courts will find Martins fear mongering and greenwashing over the top.https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.oedigital.com/amp/news/487644-rockhopper-vs-italy-tribunal-ruling-on-offshore-project-expected-in-july
Flambio,it's like going up against the church of old in Ireland.
What irks me is when the whole of Europe scrounges for oil and gas to thwart Russia , the Greens are happy to sponge off the much stressed Norweigen supplies without any shame.
I see ExxonMobil and Chevron are increasing their outputs from the Permian in Texas and New Mexico to help fill the Russian void. The Greens here meanwhile do nothing with our licence and expect consumers to subsidise their stuborn policies.
Dublin bus recently bought three hydrogen powered buses for €800,000 each (3 times the diesel norm)
The majority of hydrogen fuel in the world comes from steamed methane( CH4 ) to hydrogen and carbon. There is huge inefficiency in this process as steaming needs to happen at a very high temperature .
Ryan's whole premise is built on renewables storing surplus wind energy through electrolysis as hydrogen for times of need. The costs are crippling even before Ukraine and yet nobody questions his Mother Theresa holiness when it comes to the taboo of climate change.Make no mistake the Greens are a tax and spend party. While elected by only 5% of the electorate ,everyone is paying for their policies!
Over 700k shares bought on the Euronext today.
Ryan has been very careful not to mention Barryroe specifically but surely there comes a timescale that is considered reasonable in a court of law.
A tax and spend party ,the Greens are not wealth creators.
If anyone is following the Rockhopper legal proceedings with regards to Obrima Mare arbitration on their compensation claim .

You couldn't make this up.....https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.irishmirror.ie/news/news-opinion/pat-flanagan-column-eamon-ryan-26836559.amp
A majority in Germany now want to extend the life of their nuclear power plants .
Get this, the huge gas storage facility at Rehden ,Northern Germany,is operated by Astora a subsidiary of Russian Gazprom ! This facility was let run down to less than 10% storage in order to pressurise the German Government .Imagine that, having your fuel storage controlled by an outside country - now look at Ireland!
With the Germans needing oil has any of Lars Windhorst buddies been calling?
750 k bought on the Euronext today, someone nibbling?
Renewables flatlining all day as low as 0.65 of one percent at one stage .Yes but we can fix that by spending even more money on hydrogen storage!
