Many thanks for your reply Swizz.It makes sense of JMs prediction of within 90 days.So even with the first offshore windfarm predicted for 2027 ,there still remains a perilous gap in the Green transition when it comes to future energy security.

Varadkar was being quite responsible with public finances in citing the money message veto with regards to Barryroe when he was Taoiseach .Ryan on the other hand is now being quite wreckless with regards any claim against the taxpayer.

I see that the Germans are using barges up the depleted Rhine river from Rotherham to keep their country supplied.Trips of 800km are being run by the Germans while Barryroe is only 50km offshore Ireland.

The thing I don't get is even now as the Germans are holding their breath on Russian gas supplies , sanctimonious Ryan still wants to save the world - to hell with any hardship inflicted on his fellow citizens. Putin earned $20bn from oil in May alone .In the whole of 2021 Russia earned $110bn from oil , so his revenue has more than doubled. I agree with you Battle ,time for Europe to come up with the goods and accept there are now other factors stronger than the Green agenda.
