Don't know if any of you are following the case of Glanbia cheese plant down in Kilkenny.Its being going on a while and our old friends ,An Taisce, are challenging the department of environment and climate (ironically Ryan's department) against the building of a cheese plant.The angle that is being used is not the structure or location of the plant ,but get this,the extra methane generated by extra dairy cattle needed to supply milk to the plant !
