Have bought in over the last couple of weeks. SP looks to have bottomed out nicely and it seems good progress is being made towards the wind. No-brainer to buy at these levels and I will look to add more.

I bought back in yesterday and this morning. 2.2p is absurd given 3.3p cash. Even if they do literally nothing for a year there is still 3.1p cash.

This has been well oversold due to external factors (choppy markets and oil price drop). The fact remains that farm outs will be done by year end which will result in 7p/share cash.

Here is a slightly more helpful answer: If they succeed in negotiating a farmout for the Celtic Sea, they will get approx $20m in back costs. A farmout deal for Tendrara should bolster cast further. The CFO reckons there will be approx $40m cash on the balance sheet at year end. That is approx 7p/share just in cash. At current prices that would value all of FAST's other assets at just 1.3p/share. This is clearly absurd and the market is waking up to the value here. Just based on EPS this should be trading much higher. Bound to be pull-backs along the way, but this will hit 5p+ sooner rather than later IMO.

If this takes off it doesn't look like there's much stopping it til 6.5 Must emphasise this is high risk, though. Research required.

Highly speculative here, but if funding is secured then we could see a rapid re-rate.

Problem is, there hasn't been any news for the past year+. Nothing has fundamentally changed except a bit of publicity. Agree this is undervalued, and on news it will prob soar, but doubt many people are willing to wait another year for anything to happen. Though maybe this flurry will spur the board into action?

If it hits £2 I'm certainly buying in. I didn't take any before since I thought it might go below, but after the £2 level held well, I can't see it being breached barring bad news, and I really don't see any potential bad news on the horizon.

Checking this out following el1te's article. Everything looks good from a cash and growth perspective; the only thing that's potentially going to stop me chucking some in here is, as others have mentioned, Henderson selling. 200 may be strong support, but can it hold in the face of HGI's downsizing? I would guess not, very short term.

Reality is setting in. Too much debt and too little cashflow.

Wealthmanager: All good points, but the fundamental problem here is that they have a huge pile of debt and no money to service it. Bankruptcy is the most likely long-term outcome IMO. That's not say there isn't money to be made short term though, and I certainly wish I'd had the cojones to put some in when I was looking before at around 4p.

I'm not a day trader; I always look for sustained gains. I'm merely making the point that buying and holding over the long term (1 year +) is a bad idea for the vast majoirity of AIM stocks, as very few will ever become sustainable businesses. There are exceptions, obviously.

The brutal fact is that 80-90% of AIM companies will never make a profit. The vast majority of AIM resource explorers will never sell their finds. Long term investment in any AIM share is a bad idea, with a few possible exceptions. Learning when to take profit is extremely tough, but also extremely vital if you ever want to make money from AIM trading.
