can you explain what difference this rns will make? Or why if the AGM is in any doubt wouldn't solg have had the AGM in the first week of oct? Or why the market has completely strugged off the RNS?

It's also funny that Nick would put a 50% pay increase into a vote at AGM, if folks seriously though he would have to get for votes..

But if Nick was at all unsure why not just have arranged the AGM for the beginning of Oct when BHP legally had to vote for them.

Small private investors will mean Jack S. To the voting outcomes. I can't see this RNS getting more than 1 maybe 2% of new votes, so why do it?
Is it maybe a push to BHP to pretend solg can get it passed without them so sign and take whatever solg are offering. Otherwise you might lose the vote and get nothing?

It's good in that they won't be selling solg shares and depressing the price, as they have done previously when they are skint.
As to the PFS, they are the trickiest of beasts and always turn up things that cause them to be delayed....there are several reasons why solg want to time the PFS, just wait imo and get ready for christmas...The news blackout which isn't an official news blackout continues...

We've been few this a few times, the liabilities are high...despite having the forsale sign up, nobody has been interested yet!
Nobody wants a minority holding with no legal rights..15% of a project without any rights is not th same as 15% in a legally binding JV.
It's not 9% of solg but the solg holding can be diluted, indeed it has been.
Who would pay for this...

The problem for Cgp is that nobody has made a bid. Despite a song and dance about the Solg bid timing being at the end of the bhp tie in. Nothing ziltch.

I got the sense still that he's in a hole with cgp. A buyout is his only hope due to liquidity and the prices he needs to achieve.

Sorry Jerry I am going to Labour the point. You said the share price has been a disaster...I am currently 70-80% up if that's a disaster I'll take that every year. Anybody who brought this share, with the exception of the the recent 40p spike, in the last 2 years is currently up, probably well up, thatS hardly a disaster. Being 10% off the 3 year high with tonnes of good news to come, is not a disaster. Rising over 50% on a single piece of news is not a disaster.
Equally you did in one post its drifting then said in the next it rose from 27p to over 40p then back to 31p. That's the biggest range drift in history.

I showed that it doesn't drift around unless you think a 250% movement this year is drifting. I showed that it does rally on good news and that there are buyers.
Nobody's picking dates randomly it's just proving your wrong.

Realism is fine Jerry but you can't start making things up to be realistic.
As grim said the SP is 50% up, it's nearly 250% up from its yearly lows and only 10% or so from its 3 year high. Only 20% from its 5 year high.
We've had news such as porvenir which have doubled the share price from 21p to 42p. So it clearly does move on news.
There is lots of news to come.!!

Agree and I've said that since the AGM was announced...if the resolutions are passed then it makes an unfriendly bid more difficult...it makes a friendly sale or JV more likely.
Who voted for it and whether it goes through is fascinating.
What the company does to try and ensure it gets the votes is fascinating.
The drill at Rio could be fascinating.
The outcome of the PFS and the figures it uses and comes up with are fascinating.
The size and extension of porvenir is already fascinating and exciting.
Tbh I have no intention of selling in the next few months, so the answers to these things are more important to me than whether the SP hits 40-50-60p..obviously £2-3 pounds would be a different matter.

And the news black out continues. We could have news 2 or 3 times a week if the company wanted it, along with interviews etc.
Instead no meaningful update for 2-3 weeks now.
Regardless the drills are still turning on La Hueca, porvenir and blanca and the production line is still churning out drill rigs for us....

I do wish that everybody would try and understand everybody else's pov a bit more, that incs me!
I am not an expert on Canadian\ UK joint listed takeover rules and nobody here is.if it's an Australian company who bids then it would have to comply with that as well.

I do wish that people would read the resolutions for this coming AGM.

Again their is a resolution to mitigate their rights essentially make them worthless in a big share issurence.
