Miagi, it matches the geo model, hope 2 went through about 250m of quartz sulphite cap, under that will be the unaltered intrusion, which it has gone through, higher quartz but lower chalcophyrite will be in the intrusion, it's the bread and butter of the pcd, normally around 1-1.5% eq.
I am expecting the drill to find the higher mineralization of breccias eff not going down dip from hole 1.
The intrusion does look like the core of alpala but with higher gold imo and higher zones of copper.

It's not the selling per se, it's the lack of buyers. Uncertainty on a world scale is high and this is just the news the market expected.we knew they would be at about this depth and thought very strongly they would be in mineralization.
It's a solid rns. Next week is when the fund happens imo.

That's why pad 2 and 3 are so important. When we get the assay of hole 1 and then confirm a 500mx500m x1000m depth foot print then analysts can really add value,...so next week for assays and then 3 weeks maybe for full footprint visuals ?

A quick check and this looks to be similar to hole 16 of alpala, which coincidentally is the world's number 16th best copper gold hole in the world.
Hole 16 was 936m avg .75 copper and .95 gold. Porvenir 2 weeks to be better gold than alpala 5 for example but probably not the depth.

Is he seriously suggesting that folks won't want to buy shares now, before more regional exploration results, PFS, conditional funding etc, and the tempting prospect of a Bid battle, because of a possible small (3-5%) fundraise at some point next year???

Yep, increased from 1.5 to 1.9 due to higher metal prices, which is nice, it doesn't inc any increases for solg xploration, PFS etc so will likely be quite a bit higher than that soon!

It's totally unsustainable for a company to give an rns after every 250m drill. I complained on the last RNS hope 2 250m, that I thought it too soon, I would have prefered one at 500m instead. But that's up to solg, now I would support one at original hole depth 750m to talk about findings and whether they 're drilling on...this will probably be monday?
Apart from this next week is the start of the drill results apart from portrait visuals for me!

37 was the price of the big £1.3m sell that vanished and seemed to be just to cap the price. It looks like it didn't succeed or if it was real, they sold on the way down to 33p.
Regardless a very strong recovery.
Also shows how the folks that sold down to 33p thinking they would buy back in cheaper, probably failed....and yes I think there were a few of them.
Finally we have a bit of a Rocky morning, but a 50-50 chance of a 13.50ish update when we get either the second rig at porvenir going or the Rio one.

Because there is no guarantee they will end up owning the mine. Southern copper could come along and do a a deal with solg for alpala, for example.
You are entitled to your opinion of course and I will stop posting to allow others their view, but it's not much of an argument that something might be happening because we don't know it isnt. As an investor we normally need a bit more to go on than that.

Is has value, but to get the 15% of alpala and keep it and beat the solg bid and meet any CGP demands would be North of 730m.
400m capex, 80m debt carry, 250m CGP shareholders.

There is zero evidence that anybody wants to do this.
Nobody has bid for cgp.
Nobody has sought CGP share s.
Nobody has made any noise about buying CGP apart of shareholders.

Apart from the price there is a huge list of reason s why not.
CGP has a portfolio of silly small worthless JVs and projects.
It has a legal case against it.
It has no ownership rights 're alpala, it's just shares.
The list goes on.

I appreciate that, but there is no evidence for this, most of the cgp shareholders are a bunch of crooks it would leak out and the sp would match it.
You might as well say anybody is in talks to buy any company.

Lots of things are possible, but no one apart from solg has shown any interest or evidence that they want to buy CGP. There are lots of reasons why they wouldn't want to.
Not even newcrest who has a JV with cgp. Apart from the newcrest JV which is incredibly small and low priority, nobody has even shown an interest into buying into cgp, no major companies own newcrest shares or have ever made an offer to own any, they would shout it from the roof tops.

I really wouldn't be surprised to see some illegal happenings.with the cgp share price, the trading was a bit sus yesterday, some buying to take it up, then the traders and suckers came in, then imo, the same shares they took it up, sold.
CGP are desperate to get their sp up and they have a few friendly funds that would have the capacity to do this.
Their ace which was the sunstone drilling is not looking promising as they are with holding assays and drill results.

Luminex has announced the discovery of a PCD near porvenir today the problem though is that it's only from a few chip samples, no drilling.
Just for info but a news release like this would be illegal in the UK and possibly is in Canada as there is no way you can claim a discovery without any drilling!

Porvenir was exceptional in being announced and the company had no choice because they made the decision to assign a second rig to porvenir, because the results were so good. Even if Blanca or la hueca are good there isn't the rigs at the moment to allocate more.
The old Blanca (from last year) might or might not be good, it's highly political and they had problems with locals working tg e vein, if they were decent results, then they might want to encourage that.
La hueca my guess is that the first drill assays probably arrived last week, it's very possible they want to pool 2 drills or time news , so a few days delay to maximise timing would be welcome imo. I really think it's too early to judge la hueca.
Porvenir hole 2, we might get a second drill 2 update on Monday at say 500-600m with some juice core 2 results.
For me the first half of November was always the critical results time(mentioned in my blog).
The delay of the agm to mid dec, should allow for assays from Rio and assays from the 2nd drill pad at porvenir.I

How it's a time for patience, let the drills turn, let the results come in from the most extensive regional drill program in ecuador.

There is no personality cult for the ceo. Like others I've been on many a board and even done it my self to degree. But that doesn't exist. You have to trust the bod or you shouldn't invest imo.

The news will be delivered when it's ready, it's not in antibodies power to speed it up particularly.

As to hard egvidence , the geology speAks for itself, you don't get this geology without a pcd, the question is what copper and gold it contains. So finding a pcd is a success!
