The problem with your masterplan is that it assumes that solg just sits and watches.
It assumes that newcrest are happy to just sell a valuable stake to a competitor that they don't get on with.
It assumes deals etc
It assumes that no other company will comes in and try and stop bhp.

I strongly believe that BHP will nominate a board member for solg, under a shared declaration of exploration and progression extent. Probably in the next week.

The CGP bid was dead as soon as the Porvenir drill came in, imo and market indicated this in the price, the current solg bid is worth about 7.5 dollars now.
They can rot in their part of Canada for all I care now.

Cornerstone have a problem now, it's too late to recommend the solg bid imo, legally it would lead to all kinds of problems. There is too little time for cgp shareholders to possible react, if CGP suddenly change their position.

Again imo, it's one of the reasons for the solg increase, no acceptance of CGP means no dilution, means no shares to flood the market.
