We all know that BHP have a copper and good supply problem. The whole world knows it, it's therefore of note that they have started a new BHP ventures team to invest in up and coming small companies but not for resource supply only for technical mining improvements. The new team at BHP is not stupid so if they arnt going to invest in new projects they must have a plan.
I've always been in the JV camp and believe a BHP JV for cascabel in the next 4 weeks will be annouced. This is also supported by the news blackout 're regionals imo. I spoke to Eliza after the quarterly and it is a news blackout.

There are no tax issues for a JV if done correctly. Just a transfer or issue of shares in ENSA with an agreement(maybe) that they contribute xxx m to the cap ex costs.

Miagi it's a reduction not an increase it's a pretty standard dip.
It does mean that the mineralization extends alongway from the hole.

My guess would be somebody has pre arranged a CGP sell and is using the money to buy solg shares.....probably one of the slimey rat s who votted against the deal.

Should be the quarterly update either today or tomorrow and maybe just maybe news on the likes of Blanca and Ia Hueca.
Having a look at the recent log clip they released 2 days ago, I thought on the side of the logs it read por 3 100.....news that they are on drill hole 3 would be greatly recieved.
Also the assays of hole 1 this week.

There is selective reporting in that imo. Take sandfire. It's shares have fallen from 5.5 to now 4.3 in the last few mths , when the Chinese formally put that in place, it was already priced in. It has bounced a bit as copper prices have improved, but still faces lower smelter rates and increased costs.
Essentially china has a massive over supply of smelters and paid top wack.
It does mean that China will look more to s.America though !

Quady, I would say though that solg have put a time limit on it, as per my agm post yesterday, this is a highly charged list of atm resolutions, it's a back us or sack list, a get on board of stay at the station list. If approved it gives Nick the ability to give 30% of the company to Franco or barrick or the Chinese, diluting BHP and newcrest to below 10% and there is nothing they can do about it.
It's a decision point.
I agree that solg can take it alone, imo They want to plan the route q1 next year, take alone or JV..but Nick is setting the agenda otherwise newcrest will wait or year or two and BHP wait until q2 or 3.

It's clear they haven't been releasing as much news recently. Drill 2 should be at 1200m or so now, the rest of the assays on drill 1 probably next week, the important qrt update probably Monday or tuesday. The 100 other bits of regional news they can or could release.
Probably a media blitz up to the AGM imo as they will want the SP as high as possible. we've got the bait loaded AGM.

With all my years on here I can honestly say that the number of recommends has nothing to do with how correct a post is, never. A single boom might get 10 recommends and a very well laid out argument 0.

Permission for a 50% possible director pay increase
Permission to allocate 30% of the company.
Permission to have some allocation of shares to maintain holdings but only 5%.

This is very much a meeting of intent, either back us all the way or tell us now and bid for the company.
It blows CGP out of the water as any kind of future power grab can just be met with a friendly share issue.
Next month is put up or shut up time.

Ut was a little under 34p but there was plenty of unfilled 34p shares wanted.

This was very well known to the market imo, I think the market are surprised though that it's not much dilution, also that the price was quite high \fair.
Also I don't think there is a major now with the range and caliber of solg investors..The investors didn't need to be named either, that was a conscious choice.
Finally we can expect a flood of news now....
