Let's be clear Irwin talks BS as I said on here at the weekend...I am prepared to say sorry if Nick is voted out in 2020, but I am not holding my breath. He was also, shall we say lose with the truth on the CEO board as he forgot to say that he's actually been selling cgp, but it didn't quite didnt fit the narrative.
CGP are not a partner.....they are a shareholder nothing more....a shareholder with massive debt obligations to maintain the ensa shares. They have none, zero legal standing 're anything that happens at ensa or solg.
They have found no viable commercial deposits since alpala and then sold us the majority of alpala...they sold so tough if they want a day over it...

Access to the Meeting will be available from 10:00 a.m. (UK time) on 17 December 2020; however, the Chair of the Company will formally open the meeting at 11:00 a.m. (London time) on 17 December 2020.

Step 1
Navigate to https://web.lumiagm.com and you will be prompted to enter the Meeting ID which is 104-658-825;

Step 2
After entering the Meeting ID, please choose the “I am a guest” option;
Direction
Step 3
Inform your First Name, Last Name and Email in the respective fields. Click Enter;

Step 4
When successfully authenticated, you will be taken to the Home Screen. The meeting presentation will appear automatically if viewing through a web browser to the side of the page.
This can be minimised by pressing the button.

There was obviously a plan for cgp to replace the bod this year, as per Warren and cgp news releases.
Do people think that is still the plan?
If nick gets the votes at the agm this seems to be unlikely.
Is it just 100% coincidence Warren has just gone below reporting threshold for cgp?

Yep I thought some before the bid....solg announced they were going to bid shortly so it was a no brainer easy money. I also brought some lundin, more easy money both between 30-40% gains.

I’ve just dug up a conversation I had with Irwin.
Previously from Irwin last year “Nick is gone for sure in 2020, maybe even 2019.”
Then this summer Irwin “ gone for sure in 2020! You heard it here first folks....”
Then Irwin “ I think it is inevitable that a shareholder meeting will be called to vote out Nick and his puppet board of directors, get some real leadership in the company and toss out the Franco deal which neither BHP, Newcrest or Cornerstone want.”
Me “ Your not making sense warren. The market doesn't val CGP at the solg price, if everything is as you claim why not buy more CGP shares why instead sell...can you tell us where the 51% of shares will come from? Do you think citI will sit on the arse doing nothing? Didn't think so.”
Irwin “ Everything will be clear in time”

He’s been wrong unless we think nick gets voted out next week. And Irwin selling more isn’t really helping his case. It doesn’t seem as if Irwin or Cgp have the votes.

Id agree that irwins fund is probably having folks leaving (I would) and if I had more people leaving than joining I would want to sell my poor performing assets like cgp. So would agree with that.

're sangha and the rest they would look pretty stupid if they advised shareholders to not take solg offer of 7 dollars or whatever it works out to but then didn't buy or maintain their holdings at 5 dollars.

Oh let's not start this again it's so boring...what did I say about Irwin that was wrong? I'll happily admit it and remember it's irwins Amr we are discussing here. It's Irwin who has made comments about something big happening 're Nick getting his due rewards etc.

If they did a simple form it would be easy.
Number of shares and percentage before. Number of shares and percentage afterwards. Then they can’t hide in pages of waffle that both have fallen.

The AMR says it was both, his percentage went down and the number of shares he holds went down.
A little bit coincidental imo, that both together just takes him below 10%?

I am not 100% sure on this, but my understanding is that now Irwin is below 10% he can sell at will without notifying anybody...this looks to be Irwin filling the smallest possible change to release him to sell at will now.
Maybe he's given up on CGP?
Maybe sangha has decided to work with solg and he's a little annoyed now?
Maybe he's heard they won't be requesting an AGM now and feels a little foolish?
He certainly can't be impressed with CGPs own projects. When solg can dig a bit of waste ground (yes I know it's a real target, it's tongue in cheek) and get better results than any of CGPs own lkcenses.

Why would it scupper going it alone plans?
Do you realise that the resolution to issue shares is a normal one not a special one?

There has certainly been some impressive rises in copper companies, I am not sure I would have ggp in that list though ;)
BHP has gained a few billion in the market cap, certainly now would be a good time to fork out some cash for a JV and increase their copper, same any big copper companies really.
I don't think they will until next year but life is nice for some of them....

certainly some hungry share buyers around in the last hr or so. maybe 1m or so picked up, by pushing the bid up and taking out various ASK trades.

Oh what, I am very happy thanks. But when people are positive about solg, then sell, then are positive about CGP and negative about solg, continue for however many times you've traded it and then sprout rubbish about how BHP is the only only time the share has gone up or this years rise is all to do with Covid and the ending of the BHP standstill, not to do with news, i will pick up you on it if i care enough and have time. Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but it doens't make all opinions fact.

Oh what, I can read a graph and RNS's if that is what your mean by a know it all. You said alot of other things but.... Of course it will rocket up on take out news, if the take out news is higher than the SP, thats like saying its colder in Winter than Summer in the UK.

TOS, nobody is picking dates out of the air to prove a point. the YTD figure is widely used as its a measurement of how the company has done that year. Its difficult to argue that the company hasn't done well when its up 85% or that the SOLG strategy isn't liked by the market. Anyway I think i've proven my point so will leave it at that.
