Rio's project is really interesting, its complexcity has spawned a thousand scientific papers. The market has been expecting the copper and gold to come on stream for years and the amounts coming on stream are massive, enough to skew the market. The supply problems now are partly down to the failure of expectations re the project.
Alpala really is a simple PCD, as these things go from a geology POV, there is no chasing epithermal veins, judging where dykes might widen or fail, no massive fault displacement, its been well drilled and its a case of mining out the footprint. Obviously there are the block caving aspects and engineering.

Agree red, it's why I am looking forward to the agm being over, we can put to bed some thoeries, hopefully. Concentrate on the PFS, the size of porvejir, rio, new targets, then conditional financing francos involvement etc.

My take would be around $75 per oz, raised to $100 due to today's prices, once th PFS is calculated...obviously this is only a guide it depends on who wants it etc. But maybe it's a reasonable base point.
For copper $300 a tonne.
For reserves any way which is what a miner will be buying.

I would urge anybody to look at the link above. Particularly the one near the bottom real value of gold in the ground. I've used the library of reports for a few years now.
It's a little out of date, but does cover a period when gold was the price of is now and some simple calculations can be done...
Then look at the valuation of companies such as solg ggp...I am not saying what conclusions they should come to, but research and understanding can only be positive.

I honestly hope not, it's get another sign that ggp is about to collapse and he's leaving before his reputation is in taters.
Yes not really done anything but given the majority of his project away. The rest is hot air, originally pumped by lenigas and his crew before more serious players came in.
If he did come here I promise I would sell....which some might like :)

I can confirm that the pfs has moved by a qtr from this qtr to next qtr and everything else has as well, which is what you would expect.
They have changed the dec presentation slightly to make it represent the nov and Oct ones, due to a mistake imo.

Nice to see that confirmed, the three rigs, as per my post earlier "drill 5 (pad 3) 50-100m depth" my timing was between Friday and Saturday for the 3rd rig, so happy with that.
Good to see PFS confirmed for Jan as well.

Finance doesnt work that way...
They get the PFS figure then they can nail down the finance. They will have a list of candidates that have met the criteria, but it's only when the PFS is released that the really hard negotiation can happen for the finalised conditions..
Then maybe 6-12 weeks after the PFS the final discussions and agreements on the conditional finance are agreed and announced.
There are no new delays apart from what we have already been told or been expected to factor in ourselves.

Obviously these are high end estimates-guesses and I wouldn't dare guess for Blanca, Rio or La Hueca as there isn't enough info.

But ZZZZ, we knew the PFS was going to be in Q1 and so anybody with half a brain knew the Finance would be end of Q1 to Q2. No delay in DFS which was good.

The flip side is somebody is buying up shares taking the bid and occasionally hitting the ask (the last 5 mins), but they will happy for the ask to be hit as they get shares more cheaply.

Somebody is leaning heavily on the ask and doesn't give a Fig what damage it causes. Whether its deliberate who knows.
But will low volume before the AGM the SP will drift and i would be very surprised if SOLG issue news tomorrow or wed.

Yes because they brought CGP shares when it was over valued, they don't have the liquidity to dispose of them and need to avoid making a loss...it's had feck all to do with any other CGP shareholders, what's best for the project or anything else...
They have overplayed their hand massively.
They would have known th calendar....they just wanted to do some trash talking.

Nick was always going to be u p for a vote, and CGP knew this when they sprouted their rubbish of an egm.
