Now of course not every country embraces foreign investment especially from China with the EU being particularly cautious with concerns about their exports and not forgetting their protectionist attitudes.

The whole pamphlet is in itself ambiguous here's some examples.

1) The government BELIEVES that what the UK gets back is greater than the cost.
2) The UK is a strong independent country. Being a member of the EU means we can do more. I thought we were already a strong independent country, we can move quickly on our own.
3) A decision that will make a big difference for you, your family and your Children. Inferring what?
4) Opportunities, because the UK is a member of the EU your family can live work or study there. Again inferring we can't do that after we leave, total rubbish.
5) It also gives you many rights as a worker. Not equal rights across the EU is it?
6) The EU can check anyone coming into the country from continental Europe. Does this infer we are going to have open borders after we leave again totally ambiguous statement.
7) Trade. In the meantime we could trade with them but it COULD be more expensive. Again more vagueness.
8) Cheaper mobile charges. Early indications indicate that roaming will not change.
9) Remaining in the EU single market makes it easier to sell goods etc. Now the remainers want to stay in the single market. WHO'S THE LIARS NOW?

How you can defend this garbage is beyond me.

The referendum queston itself said "Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?".
Nothing was "promised" beyond this. The referendum was not legally binding.

Any other commitments made or interpretations of those were unreliable, fanciful and very often false.... it is lying Brexiteer leaders you have to thank for that.

I wrote this last week on the Glen BB, this was my take on Treasury shares.

I can't see the difference between treasury shares and cancelled shares, once held in treasury they receive no dividend and have no voting rights.
My understanding is that once held in treasury they have no asset value.
They can be reissued later, at a higher price maybe but surely that's exactly the same as say a normal share issue.
I guess its easier to reinstate treasury shares than issue new ones which a company would have to do if the treasury shares are cancelled and they need to raise more capital.

Any comments anyone.

Glencore have just started on a second buyback scheme today, the last one ended 26th February and all the shares are to be held in treasury. Anglo–Swiss multinational with headquarters in Baar, Switzerland, definitely not a private company BJ.
