Must say, at last, MKS seem to have started to turn this around.
Just to add my two penny's worth, my average was 117p and I averaged up adding more at 155p before the finals.
It all appears positive but the return of dividend should confirm it.

Victor, unfortunately that's the reality where cash is concerned but I get what you are saying about good business practice.
Sounds you are like me and take it as cash, which won't be earning anything when it hits your account.
For those that reinvest they have to wait anyway.

I think the time for questions on here is when the dividend is extremely late, that's where these BB's can be useful to gain on other people's experiences.

It's not that I don't care about them Wenglishboy but if you say you are waiting for a 0.57p per share payout like it's a matter of life or death then something is amiss, don't you think? If payment day was another month away I wonder how peeps would get by :-)
If divis don't reach your account then surely you contact whatever platform you're with, because no-one on here can make it happen.
If it's that bad and every penny counts then sell a few because you're in the wrong game.

The cynic in me would say where has this extra 19 million tonnes of iron ore actually come from?
A 12.5% increase is not an insignificant amount and is explained by further test work by a different company (Baker Geological Services), so it now appears that Geovista got it wrong.
However on closer inspection it is reported that Davis Tube test work results vary considerably depending on the actual equipment used and the way the test is implemented.
Also are there any differences between the two (PERC and JORC) resource standards/reporting methodologies? Who knows?

I was skeptical about Budge's announcement at the time where he said Beowulf are in the process of upgrading the resource at Kallak, I thought how, but he must have known at the time that Baker Geological Services results were going to show an improvement in the overall resource size.
All this added value with no extra drilling, who'd have thought it, but like I said, it's the cynic in me.

Saying that, his comments at the end generally and about the CAB's findings resonate well with me. But the wait continues.

Just thought some might be interested, far as I'm aware BEM have previously only quoted JORC codes when reporting resource estimates.
Probably a new directive from Brussels, you know how the EU like control, perhaps they didn't like the word "Australasian" code.
But then my views and dislike are well known on the bureaucratic European Union.

numpties on here.

Oops, hit the post button. Was about to say, I guess with all the talk about (what the experts hope) will be a short period of inflation sadly Saga are in the wrong business.
With insurance and leisure not fairing too well during periods of prolonged inflation perhaps talk of a doubling SP maybe somewhat premature.

eccles, it's not the actual cost of the shares per se, it's the overall profit/loss of your multiple dealings on that particular equity.

TP, I have a sizeable number of an AIM stock which over the years have bought and sold varying amounts. They sit mostly in an ISA a/c, the rest in a dealing a/c, the combined average of which, is even under the issue price, in fact it is negative.
If the company ceases trading I still will have made a profit.
I see no reason why anyone couldn't apply this strategy to lloyds and like my AIM stock own them for nothing.
Never be frightened to take a profit.
