Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
after being in for a year im out. No trust in the BOD whatsoever. Best of luck to all
if anyone is considering selling I would highly recommend listening to the vox interview
One of my worst decisions was selling TSL back in the summer. APT share price has rallied strongly and continues do so, drop significantly overdone from yesterday's RNS in my opinion. So I am exploiting the opportunity and am back in. GLA
Have a day off claire, production still increasing and cash balance still looking strong. Might need to remind you we are still in a pandemic that has hit RSA very hard, I think SLP are performing strongly under the current circumstances, not long til we are out of this storm and then full steam ahead. Buy
no idea, need an update ASAP though. can't see what has happened recently to justify this drop though, it was undervalued anyway
nice to see some activity on linkedin, showing the new service at work
not sure where you are getting £133m from let alone £177m for MPL latest NAV £103m, still agree significantly undervalued either way though, big year ahead
this is a long term hold for me, risky game if you are looking for a quick buck
understandable, think this is definitely a long term investment and not a quick profit. I do feel slightly overexposed with MOS but am still optimistic in the long term perspective
easy to say when its dropped back to 17 or 18 but this could have risen to 25p+ on the RNS
while I appreciate that synxs, I can confirm that many accountants do look at these elements too. A huge amount of extremely successful investors in the world look at 'the numbers on the page' as the fundamental background for their sp valuations so please do not frown upon that!
Strategies like this are incredibly difficult to gauge the profitability though are they not? Can not see how investor can apply a reliable estimated forecast to the profitability of the F1 project and the indirect benefits from the project too?
3300, thanks for that fantastic advice, I was just about to press the submit order button on a 1m buy!!
this has to be the worst board on this site, full of clueless rampers that are just F1 fans that like the look of aston martin cars (especially the DBX/Ford Kuga). nice to see the same people are here as a month or two ago when I was merely providing some raised suspicions over the sp being overpriced at 85p, two weeks later it drops to 60p and then again to 40s.
I agree on the point that the F1 concept could prove to have a positive impact on the AML brand but not sure it would be totally correct to assume it will be profit making and I think you need a lot more than that to turn this sinking ship around
the audacity to call jedclampit clueless when you then try and claim how amazing it is that AML are reducing their debts, what is wrong with people in this forum honestly. Ok great Paul you bang on about your reduced debt of £0.2bn after over £0.6bn of placing proceeds.
If you think jed's spectacles are tinted, yours must be wrapped in about 10 layers of duct tape
brilliant, shame I am not at EY then isn't it
could not agree more jed
3300, that is brave if basing that on the results in that HY report, difficult to measure under COVID circumstances. I suppose it is just a difference in approach to valuation which I respect, but Dunnieboy is being a bit naive to just look at the cash in bank balance
haha stop dreaming of the F1 team for a moment and just go back to basics
because it shows that the debt of the company is still increasing at a rate of knots?? it is frightening that some people like you don't actually look at these things. I think we can both tell you can't read a set of stats
Net debt of £751m even after placing proceeds of £600m? So exc the placing proceeds they are saying net debt would be £1.3bn+? jeez
