You have RNSTranslator, who disappeared then returned as Olivia Oil who traded in and out for two years, utilising every opportunity to twist positive news into negative, all these people and more have had their day. They are now beating a skinless drum. Union Jack is probably in the best position possible of all the onshore UK producers. Cash rich, asset rich, constant revenue stream, profitable.

The company have a major interest in the biggest un-appraised hydrocarbon discovery onshore UK at Biscathorpe, a comfortable interest in the biggest gas discovery in the UK in over half a century at West Newton, a major interest in the second biggest producing licence to Wytch Farm at Wressle. Along with £10,000,000 cash in the bank, profitable, debt free and covered for all drilling operations for the next 12 months, there is quite simply NO REASON OR EXCUSE TO BE NEGATIVE and if anyone posting on here feels there is, my belief is they are doing so purely in the interests of disrupting shareholder communication and spoiling every conversation.

in sentiment for oil! Seems to me all the anti-fossil fuel brigade are about to get a pasting as the world awakens to the obvious fact without our oil and gas we will have no food, heating or power. Government taking the correct stance now that their antics are not acceptable. The OPEC cut ensures oil will return to the $100 dollar level, I think we will now see some real advances in value for Union Jack as thr monthly million keeps coming in, we get an announcement on the dividend and share buy back, the gas monetisation etc. With the Biscathorpe hearing next week, it will be an interesting guide to the future if passed.

Next week the $10,000,000 net revenues RNS, then the Bidcathorpe hearing then the dividend or share buy back/both. Looking very good here!

The pressure is now on to ensure our energy security, judging by what is going on worldwide, these banner waving, living sleeping policemen who try to stop the use of fossil fuels are being cast aside. Local councils will see more pressure from their constituents and the government than the abusive threatening layabouts they have been used to over the past few years and they will be stamping APPROVED on planning applications where there are hydrocarbons that can supply the country with what it needs. Biscathorpe is believed to be extremely significant and in a few weeks, it will, in my opinion, be on the 'of national importance' list of wells to be drilled. West Newton already approved, already known to be the biggest gas discovery in over 50 years, this couldn't have come at a better time. With Angus Energy already contributing to the country's needs, Union Jack will be part of the goal to achieve energy independence for the UK. For all the years long term shareholders have waited and suffered, payday with bonus's is on its way.

In monetary terms it equates to an annual production of 15.56 billion cu ft of gas or 155.6m therms. At today's natural gas price of around £1.50/ therm that would give a gas company an annual revenue of £235m.

Of course, this is based on an unknown. Just how big is this asset really going to be? We will have a far better idea by the end of this week!

Of course, it does need to be flowed.

It will be interesting to see what the experts say on recoverability.

Personally I believe there is an excellent chance of success based on the lab core tests and confidence in getting it to flow.

Excited to see the CPR, I feel sure it will exceed expectations.

the West Newton CPR as state in the latest UJO RNS. Next week we should see the $10,000,000 revenue announcement for the Wressle well. Can't see it this week with the oil price as it has been. Once these two announcements are out, I believe we could then see the share buyback commence and an update on the dividend. I am guessing at a 1.75-2% divi and the buy back to boot. The timing could be excellent here, if the CPR (which we are already aware is suggesting enough gas in place to service 380,000 homes for 'many years' is as good as this suggests, with the company sapping up a lot of the sold shares as they become available, and paying a divi, shareholders are in for a good time over the next few months.

Wiltshireman, in my opinion, the JV will only drill the one well. The moment they flow any gas, the operation will be over and a major will take out what is the biggest gas discovery in half a century. It won't be a case of developing it, far too costly, far too big. DB would never increase UJO's percentage, by doing so he would increase the company's cost and risk. Ideal percentage as it is. He has said this in the past.So 'long and expensive' ? No, next year UJO will be out of this venture.

OK! Saltfleetby is producing, but it seems as though the JV are confident in recoverability, it is the BIGGEST gas discovery onshore UK. How much bigger though?

Sounds great to me, add the value of that to the oil and gas at Wressle and things are looking extremely food for Union Jack.

I believe the JV are more than confident of getting this prospect commercial and there will no doubt he a few majors looking very closely at it as it develops.

Reading the various articles about fracking and the government stance on ensuring wells like this, of national interest, will likely be expedited, local planning overridden etc, the outcome could be far better than many expect. It will be very interesting to see the report later this week to see just how much gas in place is estimated. Could it be bigger than Saltfleetbey? The discovery is made, the extraction, by hook or by crook will, imo, be successful.

Wressle alone is becoming more and more exciting, our 750/800 bopd shows little sign of receding, this is still water free and free flowing. With a potential 2.43 million additional barrels of oil and other sones to target, throw in the gas sales too and Union Jack's financial position will be more than impressive. For genuine shareholders, it is looking to be an exciting time ahead.

Milnrowmug, to be fair, I only repeat some of my positivity because EVERYONE's positive posts, not just mine are intentionally drowned out by a number of activists that use this BB as a base to attack the company and other positive users, predominantly shareholders. In a way, it's hardly worth trying to defend your investment when there is any news, share price action etc as it gets filled with bile. But, it IS my main investment and I have every right and every intention to ensure when someone decides to have a look at what us being said, they don't just see personal attacks, people trying their best to demoralise and dispirit. These people aren't shareholders. They are, to me, complete ars*eholes. Why they think it's ok to destroy other people's right to try and make some money is beyond me. How would they feel if I went to their place of work and set fire to the premises, tried to cost them their job?
