Does a local power network mean a business or a provider? When you look at all the businesses that could be powered from Wressle, and have a reasonable demand, within a reasonable distance to lay a cable, you have the Hilton hotel, Broughton Co-op, British Steel, the Queensway Industrial Estate or the nearby retail park, Morrisons etc. Or could it mean they would cable it into a service provider? With planning in place I can’t think the line end would be too far away from the site. Or maybe it will be powering all the farms in the area lol. We have results out for Egdon and an expected update on the gas monetisation. Also an interview with Sharetalk and DB. I believe Mark Abbot also doing a podcast if some sort. Throw in some shares bought back and only a week to go to get positions in for the Dividend, I would think an upward shift in the SP to 40p+ very likely over the next few days. Everyone waiting on the gas news.

Company will buy back strategically imo. On days when loads of sells but no buys, they will soak some up. They can only buy back 10%, better not to be buying them when other people are buying them.

Bigbench, 'get the news flowing here'? The way I see it, we have had nothing but news in 2022 and the majority of it positive, not sure what else they can say right now. There's a share buyback underway, wouldnt surprise me if this is why the MM's are holding this back, maybe we will see confirmation later or tomorrow.

Just over a year ago, neither UJO, EDR or EOG had any real income other than that from placings. They are all in a much better position now, UJO more than their JV partners. Expediting prospects is now a reality imo.

Not forgetting the gas of course, revenues are set to continue for many, many years, not start declining next year. The only thing we will see is changing timeframes for each million dollars from Wressle due to the oil price decline from when the reporting commenced.

There was a bit of jiggery pokery by Winnifroth after UJO Twitter conmfirmed the company is nit effected by the ban on fracking. Our Tom and his chum Gary tried to suggest that an earlier RNS stated fracking could have a positive effect on some of the company's assets and the Tweet was contradictory. Of course, they did not analyse the actual meaning of the RNS that fracking would actually increase to potential at West Newton, but it was not necessarily required and that Rathlin agreed with the council they would not be fracking it. As usual, trying to throw a little more negativity at the company Tom hates for proving him so, so wrong this year.

Jimmy, I don't think it was, it is a multiple version of the proppant aqueeze carried out at Wressle. I'm pretty sure at West Newton it was acid and water stimulation. Mini/multiple proppant squeezes I am confident would work well there and be within the 'fracking legislation'.

Who in their right mind would pay to read the crap he writes on Union Jack anyway? He gets virtually no likes when he tweets it, well, he does, Pete Brailey gives it a thumbs up lol. Anyone can see its personal and spiteful, that his comments do not reflect the state of the company. I would actually be embarrassed to do any article on UJO after writing such rubbish in the oast year, just accept it was called wrong and move on.
