I fully understand your reasoning, and my aspirations mostly concur with yours. However, the finances of many LTIs, like myself, remain bruised and battered since last February.

Some, like me, will have bought more stock at the current low levels in expectation of better times. My plan is to remain invested in anticipation of the share price recovering to 100p in the first instance (with a trial confirmed?). I would then need to weigh up my options.

Should the ongoing strategy remain exclusively with Synairgen, my choice would be to take all my investment off the table and monitor how the remaining "free" shares progress from that point. I believe that it was Ghia, who did something similar before the fall? My apologies if this wasn't the case Ghia? I wish that I had taken that very sensible measure at the time. I was wrong to trust Dr. Monk and Dr. Jodie Brookes to lead the Sprinter trial through to a successful conclusion. In a similar situation, I would hesitate to do so again. It is possible that they could get a trial over the line next time, but I would be unwilling to take that risk.

I have respect for your opinion HSD, unlike some contributions to this board, who choose to comment disparagingly about the opinions of others. I disagree, however, as I do not believe that this is the way that TFG Asset Management will choose to conduct their business with Synairgen ?

It will be interesting to see how this saga finally progresses? I finally read “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy recently. This is beginning to feel a little like that - an apparently endless journey with no conclusion in sight? Let us hope for a satisfactory resolution for all the participating LTIs.

Thanks Brand. I am of the opinion that the future of SNG001 (and perhaps Synairgen?) lies in the US. Recent statistics quoted by Synairgen on their website and on LinkedIn/twitter are all US based. Isn't Dr. Main, who was with the Synairgen team at the ID2022 conference recently, an authority on NIH protocols? My evidence is thin, but points in the direction of the US. Perhaps Dr. Monk will have something new to add at the World Vaccine and Immunotherapy Congress? Exposure at this level can only add to the company's aspirations.

I noticed the same, as I initiated the thread. Unfortunately, contributors to this forum insist on continuously posting inappropriate references to some seedy individuals, who occasionally visit this board. Some decent minded individuals, who correctly disapprove of unnecessary references, which lower the tone of the board, will remove these comments. It is frustrating that relevent comments disappear with them.

An appeal to all contributors. If you disapprove of the comments of certain individuals, do as I have done, and filter their messages. Avoid replying to the seedy individuals, especially not in language that is inappropriate for an investment forum. Perhaps our threads will then be preserved?

More importantly, where is that RNS that all LTIs are waiting for? Repeated fillers on LinkedIn, and twitter do nothing for the company, as our share price shows. It is high time for RM and his high-level executive team to get an SNG001 trial over the line. If they are unable to do so, then now is the right time to look for other possibilities IMHO?

Agreed with Trek on this. The potential here attracts shorter-term traders, looking for quick gains, from time to time. They subsequently leave when their profit does not quickly materialise subsequently. I may well have read the signs incorrectly, but I believe that this investment will seriously multi-bag from here. I have no idea. concerning the time scale involved.

I am not offering investment advice. DYOR etc. The recent newsletter offers (below) some optimism for aspiring investors. Information from most companies do the same; the difference being that the products from this company address a serious and urgent need.

The reply quoted by TommyD_19 is the default response that we have been receiving from Synairgen for quite a while. I received the same reply to my query six weeks ago.

Surely they must be close to revealing their next steps soon? The reassuring analyses of trial results issued this year show great promise for the future. However after nine months in a trough without any indication of future income generation, the time for a trial announcement is nigh.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they announced an alliance with an US entity? There are quotes on their website, on twitter and on LinkedIn, which relate to US statistics. Wasn’t Dr.Main, an independent consultant, who featured in the team photo at the ID2022 conference, there to advise them about NIH protocols? It seemed that way to some of us on this forum?

Perhaps I am assuming too much, and have got this all wrong? However, why is their online presence so biased towards the US otherwise?

I have just discovered that it is possible to sell 300K shares in one trade @ 17.2609p. This doesn’t add up? If they moved the decimal point one place to the right, I would seriously consider it.

The emerging peripheral positive news re. publicity, potential trials, and possibly TFG aspiring to increase their holding is adding to my interest. After last February, I shan’t get too carried away until I hear it from the horse’s mouth. The spadework has been completed, and the foundations are laid. Time for some empire building, or else sell it on at a fair price.

I lack your obvious knowledge about trades and bids and how each impacts on the share price. Consequently, I have been bemused by the recent Synairgen closing prices following days of comparatively low-level trading. The recent monthly levels show how low this has become when compared with a year ago.

I would be interested to learn more about your hypothesis as to why you believe that Synairgen’s value will increase in the early part of next year as we approach the first anniversary of the Sprinter trial top line data RNS?

My envisaged scenario (pure speculation, based on the promising trial results and data released since “that trial” announcement) is that any news concerning a PT or JV would stimulate investor interest, and with it bring about a hike in the share price? It would make sense to have such an agreement in place ahead of Winter, so that arrangements could be made in good time before Winter and it’s associated health issues sets in?

It would appear that you are suggesting something different, or perhaps not? I have stated before that my preferred outcome as an investor would be a T/O at a fair price, when I consider SNG001’s potential value when finally approved? My view could quickly change should Synairgen succeed in negotiating a JV, thus setting a trial by the fastest available route in motion? Moreover, I would be more confident of its outcome should a BP partner become involved in the trial arrangements, and execution.

Many have stated their opinions as to how things stand, and what the future might hold for Synairgen? Our views are mere speculation. We all remain in the dark until there is a significant announcement concerning the company’s concrete plans going forward.

I wouldn't disagree with you there HSD. I view it as a general lack of interest, as much as anything else. As with other stocks, peripheral news, which draws the attention of informed LTIs is off-radar for the general investor.

IMHO Synairgen will need to supply evidence of potential near to mid-term income generation to awaken market interest again. Involvement in a P3 equivalent trial of any description could have a good impact? For the time being, we need to trust that Synairgen are negotiating opportunities to bring the company back on track.? I haven't dismissed your fund raise theory. Given our cache of results and trial data, it shouldn't come to that. My optimism is undiminished, and everything hinges on the company's ability to negotiate with PTs and BP as things stand.

…… following some smallish selling this morning? They usually occur together? A coincidence? I think not. Extreme negativity (if that is what it was?) is best ignored at this point in time. There is enough evidence in Synairgen’s locker to give the company a very good chance of securing a trial opportunity.

Many thanks for all of today’s contributions. Other than the green boxes, it has been a sensible dialogue. In particular Wigster77 for reminders no us of that very positive interaction that he and Doc83 had with the company’s management team at the AGM.

In Sir Alex Ferguson speak, it is squ…. b.. time at the moment. When the anticipated RNS arrives, the emerging scenario may be very different from today’s ?

Agreed, but there is an ongoing conversation. Both contributors are putting forward their points of view. IMHO, in the absence of news, a realistic conversation, reflecting on alternative scenarios, is a refreshing change from the persistent negativity offered by some contributors.

It looks as the small selling is continuing, which may cause the share price to return to sub 2p levels. Some positive announcements concerning the progress made with initiatives that the company has underway would be well received at this point in time. There is so much promise in IB’s newsletters. It is time for the company to walk the talk.

HSD. I would be happy to receive any positive trial announcement in the not too distant future. I have no idea as to what shape it may take? My personal aspiration is that it will add value for investors.

You have mentioned a hypothetical fundraise in late 2023. Presumably you anticipate that by then the company’s MCap will be considerably higher than it is today? Isn’t it realistic to suppose that before this happens, there might be some interest shown by a BP company? There is also the involvement TFG Asset Management to consider? Will their influence have any bearing on the company’s future? I remain optimistic, and believe that Synairgen will act in the best interest of investors whatever the future may hold?

Thank you Fruitsnveg. I have remained optimistic about my Synairgen investment since last February, and also believe that there may well be negotiations underway? Investors will no doubt be mightily reassured when news of a deal is announced.

Agreed also that we don’t want anything done in the style of Johnson. Today’s extreme budget measures are in no small part due to his inept leadership at difficult times for the country, as well as his selfish standard bearing through Brexit. I have always valued thoughtful altruistic leadership ahead of that of the populist self-interested leaders that I have encountered on too many occasions. I suspect that when Synairgen has something to announce it will arrive in an understated style. With the right deal on the table, the market reaction should be positive, and get us back on track again.

Just checked in to discover two contributions from the last five highlighting spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors in what others have written. I have got away with this several times, which just shows what little attention is given to my bland contributions.

Seriously though, most of us are all a little on edge as we await an RNS to start the next phase of Synairgen’s development. The company needs to negotiate a trial soon. We are in a far better position today in terms of results and data to inform future trials. Unfortunately, the share price has been decimated, and will not recover until there are income streams on the near horizon. As I have stated previously, I choose to disregard extreme views on this forum. That isn’t to say that any of these contributions may prove to be correct as events unfold? My only concern lies with the time that is elapsing as we await news of a major event that will change our future prospects for the better. I am reassured by what has been announced since February, but am of the opinion that it is high time for Synairgen’s under-employed leadership team to get on with getting the business back on track with a significant announcement. Analysis of and reporting on results, and presentations at conferences is still ongoing. However, there is now sufficient meaningful information available to negotiate a deal, and get the company back on track.

Synairgen have already attended several significant (as regards our treatment) conferences, where up-to-date presentations of SNG001 trial data have been given. There are still some results and data under review, and these will eventually emerge. IMHO, although Synairgen may have made arrangements to attend and give presentations at upcoming events, there is more than enough evidence in our trial results and data cache to gain the attention of potential BP allies.

I have no idea whether negotiations for a JV trial with potential partners are underway, or whether the NIH are currently discussing a Strive trial invitation with Synairgen? As an investor, I patiently await an update from the company, presumably by RNS? All discussions on this forum, positive, negative, or facetious in one or two cases, are mostly irrelevant. Long term investors do their own research, purchase their stock and await developments that they anticipate might happen. Any comments from over optimistic fellow investors, or traders who believe that contributing negativity will prompt investors to sell stock and lower the share price, are mostly irrelevant. I read sensible comments on this forum, which add to or detract from my investment aspirations, and am grateful for those contributions. Anything else is ephemeral.
