The irony is K3V is one of the biggest trolls on these boards, he like to start troll theads whilst adding nothing to the conversation, it's a bit rinse repeat, sprinkle in how pluto will save us all and that's the lot.

I do find it amusing though.. Especially the posts where he says he has the board to himself because he's filtered everyone... Genuinely makes me laugh.

Yes completely true and it would take up lots of his time to do the digging, but I think a lot of the ratios will turn upside down if it could be accounted for such as..

Flowerpot Plc declares they will go from 1 eh to 4eh this year and have recently done a raise to cover the purchase price of machines.

Or thechuz Plc states they will go from 1eh to 10eh but hasn't raised any funds yet.

Which would you buy, the paid for 3eh increase or would you buy the 9eh increase now knowing you will be diluted massively.

Based on alot of James' ratios the second compa y would come out the winner with its 9 fold increase but if you buy it now it's going to hurt alot... Of course as soon as the funds are secured THEN you pile in, ride the increase and then get out before the next round of fund raising.

I have a lot of respect for that guy, he uses facts and figures to determine direction, he is obviously not spot on every time (he would also admit that).

I think he has maybe missed a piece of information with the ratio crunching and that is.... Drum roll... Cureent funding to achieve anticipated hashrate.

Some of the other miners have declared a hashrate and have raised equity to cover it which sqews some of the ratios whereas Argo has a declared future hashrate but not the funding in place, this will have aa negative effect on a lot of the ratios, especially if it comes in the form of a share issue where the market cap can increase whilst having a drop in share price.

Based on his analysis we should be jumping into clears Park.. Although, again, I don't know what thier funding position is.

I'll be interested to see how it works, with my Gpu based rigs increase the hashrate I can increase the hash rate by +30% whist also lowering the power by 45%. So getting a lot more hashrate for significantly less power. There's always a balance with thermal throttling /heat generation.

I would imagine since asics are designed to be specific for thier mining application that the gains arnt there in the same way but I will be interested to see how it all pans out (industry wide).

So what do we reckon, bull trap or mooning signal.

Sometimes it better to have an opinion on something and be wrong some of the time rather than have no opinion and neither be right or wrong all of the time.

Atleast if you're wrong you can reflect and learn, whereas not having an opinion you are just one of the sheeple.

Sell btc - not wise, reduces companies worth
Take out a loan - not wise, ongoing debt burden will lower imaginary profitability

Share issue - perfect, the current shareholders know its a game of dilution and are expecting it.

So for me instead of being left with the bags, I'll go back in heavier once the share issue is done.

I know yourself and Kev appear to like the idea of being diluted down so that's cool

Out of interest where have you got your money, financial and energy but any particular stock? Or are you mainly cash.. I've lightened my crypto load and now it needs a new home.

Bear with me but.. Yhe price doesn't principally matter for miners, yes I know that sounds ridiculous BUT if all miners hodl the effective return is zero. They would get the same amount to spend no matter the price I. E. Zero.

It matters for expansion and fund raising but if none of them were expand and just kept thier current market share then the difficulty would remain the same.

Of course there will be the other needed fund raises such as paying overheads which the share issuing covers and yes there is likely more shares to be issued at lower prices but in the same note the bonuses should also be lower and the salaries reduced.

I'm not saying it doesnt matter or have an effect. What I'm getting at is the negligable impact for an entity who never turned them into fiat anyways.

Probably not too much of a mystery there.. Btc has been tanking and although Argo are doing everything the should be doing and are achieving (mostly) what they say they will be doing there is the big unknown about funding.

Once the funding situation is known I think there will be a feeding frenzy
