it may have some relevance if mention that i have been monitoring the meeting agenda for the EMA Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee and meetings that were scheduled for 9th to 12th march were all scheduled to be held virtually and i understand that they were so held.i suspect the problems with meetings are going to stem more from overloading /prioritising of personnel and applications.hard to imagine there will not be some disruption but i imagine the majority of information to de considered is documentary in form rather than verbal so expect things to proceed ableit perhaps a little more slowly the might otherwise have been the case.

odd that they don't give a reason for the postponement.not even a nod to the virus which they could easily have done and which is affecting most if not all planned meetings.almost certify its so they can arrange virtual link up but why not say so.either poor communication skills (surely not!) or some thing else.

the further consideration of the change in legal status for fortacin from prescription to non prescription was scheduled in the PRAC agenda for 9th to 12th march.the meetings were to take place virtually for obvious reasons.i do not know if the meeting was held but if it was going ahead virtually i assume it was.i do not understand the jargon/technical references in relation to the meeting but it does at least indicate that the process is still ongoing.perhaps we will have news in the results.
