morning all.pretty muted reaction so far.possibly lack of market awareness as no announcement yet. intersting to take a look at today's announcement on the website re grant of options.not particularly interesting in itself, but have a look at the terms for exercise. dont think I've seen terms like these before. do they indicate confidence or caution?(or nothing ?)

encouraging that it is a little earlier than was expected. also my understanding is that as well as the overriding EMA authorisation, individual counties/territories will have their own particular rules and requirements for OTC marketing, so reasonable to expect a staggered roll out, as and when each set of country specific requirements are met.very pleased with this news.

glad that worked out so well for you volatility.i wasn't quite so fortunate as i sold out shortly before the major uplift,but i still made a modest profit,so feeling ok about it.i think there is very considerable potential with fum .very risky of course so my holding here is fairly modest,but i don't worry really about a placing as its just standard risk for this type of share.if you can't take the placing risk you shouldn't be investing here imo. the bottom line imo is simple first regulatory approval.even if we get a placing first,on ema approval it will rerate very significantly.so if we get approval (and i expect we will) everything will be fine.i also pay no attention to posts detailing the company's historic failings.have only been in since the p111 results and if they have made mistakes or been unsuccessful in the past I'm simply not bothered . if we all invested based on past performance there would be some very odd markets.just my opinion of course. good luck

fair enough volatility.synairgen was the first one i thought to look at,bearing in mind its recent history.i I'm not currently invested there although i did hold previously. im not surprised they are looking for more.gl

ODIETEJ.i think you will find that most of these small and very small pharmas/bios only have a small number of employees. for example syanairgen has 14 employees according to bloombergits just par for the course.

hello albert it's definitely 4.3p I'm afraid.i agree they can't force the s/p up but perhaps the judicious issue of news in next few days may help.i hope they have some strategy in mind, as they must have realised the s/p was likely to fall to the placing price as it always does (well almost always) .as usual time will tell

its all speculation as you say, but i was just wondering whether there may be some relevance here for us by way of Juvenescence.mellon keeps talking about IPOing it, but it never happens.he now seems never to mention regent as others have observed.if he were able to offload fortacin on favourable terms, could he consider reversing Juvenescence into regent and get a main market listing that way? i don't actually expect this to happen as i imagine he's after a uk or more probably a US listing, but just speculating. regent has stated it wants to become a leading light in the longevity sphere.thats my paraphrasing as i haven't checked the actual wording from the last relevant announcement, but thats its tenor. perhaps acquiring DLI (which won't have been jamie's idea, whatever mellon says) is a way of testing the HK market's reaction to the longevity idea? ok wild speculation i know, but if my post gets removed? (don't get excited anyone,as I'm sure it will still be here by monday.just joking)

if the s/p is less than 4.3p on the day of completion (29th dec) they have to issue additional shares to the vendors to make up the equivalent of 200m shares at 4.3p. i assume its worked out on closing prices but thats just a guess without having access to the actual documentation..so on current figures about another 38m shares(thats what i worked out at one point on friday so might be a bit out and again without seeing the detail we don't know what precisely is the pricing point ). i imagine the will be very anxious to avoid this for a number of reasons, so expect some sort of announcement to get s/p up, but that assumes, of course, that they have something to announce. let us hope so.

so something like 9 1/2 trading days to get s/p up to 4.3p to avoid having to issue additional shares.going to be an interesting few days.
