just wondering if i am correct in assuming that the NMPA's approval of the clinical trial is a pure formality.the wording of the 4th jan announcement suggests this to me,but just wondered if that was other posters' understanding and that in effect we are guaranteed the payment due when formal approval is granted.(

dougie i don't know how long it will take for regent to submit the results to fda but at this point personally I'm just glad they have confirmed promptly the completion of the trial as this obviates any worries about last minute delays or problems.i imagine the results need to be presented with great care so it could take some time i suppose but hard t imagine it taking more than say 4 months and probably less.just my opinion of course and I've no expertise in this area but i would hope for confirmation of submission by end of april at latest.just a guess of course.

yes good news dougie.pleased to see confirmation that p11 completed.china trial details pretty much as might have been expected(150 subjects shouldn't be a problem i hope).the information about the increased batch size is possibly the most encouraging point for me, but overall good to have the expected progression confirmed.not sure we will see any real s/p increase though ,but hope I'm wrong.gla

the two large trades reported this morning(£182k each) are both non protected portfolio single protected transaction reports.so large orders put through the market over time and only reported in a single announcement on completion.looking at the s/p movement and l2 they must have been buy orders imo.

morning bignose.interesting that you should post about ANIC.i was saying to my wife about an hour ago that here in uk we will probably not be able to eat meat in 5 years time.i said this admittedly as hyperbole to make the point in response to what is an obvious and growing anti meat agenda here in the uk.there is a lot of pro vegan/vegetarian/ anti meat advertising now on tv and well known tv chefs normally associated with meat/poultry and fish recipes are being enlisted in its promotion.part of the world reset imo (yes sorry but I'm a conspiracy theorist here I'm afraid).very cynical about what is going on.may take longer than 5 years but its coming.tesla's rise is phenomenal and has triumphed over an extremely aggressive shorting campaign which i though would bring it down.not invested in either.i was looking at eqtec here on aim this morning.i bought in a couple of years ago i think at about 0.7p.watched it plummet and was under water for months.eventually sold out at decent profit (about 1.3p) as was worried it had dodgy finance structure.it make systems which convert waste to gas and although i have only the most superficial understanding of anything technical i though this was a great idea.the finance structures was i think dodgy and it fell to about 0.25p.i toyed with buying in again as i really liked the concept about 3 months ago.didnt.s/p this morning about 3p.yep over 10x gain.timing and hindsight,these are the keys to successful investing.lol.sorry for self indulgent post but my wife has just told me that the union jack over 10 downing street has been replaced with united nations flags.now tell me there is no reset agenda.im too old to be bothered overmuch personally as I've had my life but i fear for the younger generations sadly.as you would say rant over.

interesting series of posts by pinkish over on ADVFN, regarding reference in 2019 annual report and accounts to a non core element held for sale.see note 22 apparently.not a major item but something which may help to address the debt issue to a small extent.worth a quick look on ADVFN imo.

dougie the next news re FDA should be confirmation that P11 results have been submitted to FDA.i am hoping for this fairly soon.regent have said first half 2021,but if the p11 has now completed then i would hope it will be submitted well before the end of half year. after that the next step would be confirmation that FDA have approved start of P111 study, expected in second half of 2021.this is the biggie as it were, as it would mean that the PEBEQ has been accepted as an appropriate measure for assessing fortacin.this is an aspect which has been questioned by some and confirmation that it is accepted would i think give potential investors/partners a very clear green light to go ahead. bearing in mind that we got EMA approval (and the OTC change which was a very significant achievement in its own right) i suspect partners/licensecees might well feel confident enough to commit ahead of formal FDA approval, but thats just speculation of course.so there is still a while to go,but now we are into the new year i think time will start to pass quite quickly and expectations will grow.let us hope we re not frustrated by news of any failures/obstacles arising.

agreed Mavern.never really felt we fulfilled the criteria for priority review,but pleased there was not a major pullback.now we have entered the new year the timescale for approval will seem much closer psychologically (this year not next year as it were) so expecting positive moves in s/p in response.

morning heimdal.agree completely with bignose's comments ,but would also add that i personally expect some further developments on the longevity front in the next 12 months.what they will be and what effect they will have on the S/P is anybody's guess though. I'm not really into price predictions but i have to agree that with all the potential news this year it would be disappointing if we were not close to 30cents by year end.could be a lot higher.also OTC sales have to be reasonable imo,which is a big uncertainty.

morning besty.although HL is my main platform i do have an II account, but i only use it for dealing with one shareholding i have on the Hong Kong exchange,for which i couldn't use HL.II has a monthly charge so its very expensive for my purpose as a rarely deal on it ,but I'm stuck with it historically until i can dispose of the HK holding.so it all depends i think on things like how often you deal and why you have become dissatisfied with HL. i used to trade blackberry on Hl and had no problems although the charges and exchange costs were a bit onerous.i think they have improved the II site somewhat also ,as it's a bit more user friendly than it used to be, but as i say its not my favourite site.no experience of IG I'm afraid.
