perhaps not quite so insubstantial after all.southern fox investments which have at least 25%of the shares in CBderma,was a substantial shareholder in allergy therapeutics in 2018.they held 22% or so and invested quite significant amounts. no idea if they are still invested. its not easy to get much info on them.

maxbda napster group ltd was incorporated on the 26th jan,with just matchett as the sole director etc.i assume they did this to protect the name napster group plc, so as to avoid a repeat of the postman problem.if you do a name availability search the limited version is the only one that would bar the use of the group name. so they were ahead of the game at that point. no idea what has happened to cause delay now.bearing in mind han**** is speaking at the pulse event tomorrow at 4.30 i imagine they will be anxious to get the name registered by tomorrow if they can.personally while accepting that it doesn't look good I'm not too bothered about it.small beer in the overall scheme of thing in my opinion.many will disagree.interstingly they are tidying up the registry entries it seems,as the recent recording of hansons retirement as a director was only done a few days ago but he resigned some time back in 2020.

dactions if you trawl through the other stuff at companies house you will find that the persons/entities with significant control (at least25% but less than 50% respectively) are Gonzalo Caraballo and Southern Fox Investment ltd .on 17th august 2020 additional shares were issued (it doesn't make clear to whom and in what proportions) for the sum of £250k .that was when they became persons/entities with significant control, so i assume they put the money in at that time. not a large amount. but not peanuts either. must feel where is some potential i assume.

lets not forget that they have undertaken in effect to appoint lansing davis to the board, so expect news on this, and possibly other changes, shortly.

https://www.spglobal.com/marketintelligence/en/news-insights/latest-news-headlines/insilico-brings-ai-skills-to-coronavirus-therapy-search-prepares-for-ipo-58074375 apologies if I've posted this before but it's of some interest in light of heimdal's comments. 10 months ago Zhavoronkov talked about possibly IPOing on the HK or Shanghai markets. personally i don't think there is any chance of regent being involved.i doubt Zhaovoronkov would regard a company with regent's less than impressive record as being a suitable vehicle to have any direct involvement.furthermore i suspect strongly that he is not a mellon minion and would probably not welcome too much reliance on a mellon vehicle. that said i do in a sense share your optimism,heimdal.i suspect insilco is going places and will probably go down a formal ipo route, as it will no doubt require considerable financing. regent may derive some peripheral benefit in some way (this is just a rather nebulous thought) as there may be some cross fertilisation with DLI. i would hope that Zhavoronkov will continue for some time as DLI's CLO, as he does seem to have considerable interest and reputation in the longevity field. if he does and insilico does float, we may perhaps benefit by association. not wishing to harp on about it, but i do expect a further acquisition in the longevity sphere during the year .to me it makes no sense just to have DLI in the stable on its own, but I'm just musing .do real ideaof course.incidentally i think jamie is still no two shareholder. zhavoronkov has the number of shares you mention heimdal but his percentage is, i believe,3.35%. what is worth noting,imo,i that there are a number of associated parties with interests in DLI and longevity generally, who have holdings as well as Zhavoronkov. the two insilco companies have 4.63 %, wei-wu-he and mamoshina have almost 2% between them and there are a couple of other longevity funds or similar with another 2.46%.what it means for regent's future is anyones guess.

well I'm probably one of the rampy b/s rs but i was looking at the ADVFN posts this morning (including yours) and i see there is some concern over the Proactis sa figures out on friday. doesnt sound like they are going to help sentiment,so it seems pretty clear that this isn't going to trade itself into a better place in the short term.therefore,i have to agree that the only short term catalysts are sykes going or Dbay making a bid. i think there is very little chance of sykes going (he might be pressured by Dbay, but i expect he would resist and unless LO or Potts backed a replacement he will probably stay in the absence of a bid. I'm encouraged slightly by the fact that LO and dbay seem to be sticking with it (although that could change course). my money is and always has been, on a bid by Dbay, but at a lowish figure. personally would be happy now with 60p but its clearly a worry that day may continue to play the long game and just wait for s/p to drift down before adding/making a bid. obviously it's just speculation that dbay will bid and they may have other thoughts of course.all just my opinion.

seems to me the terms of the sale to orange set out in the RNS are largely window-dressing to make it look as though there has been some proper consideration both given to and for the disposal.no one has mentioned,so far as I'm aware, the point that any financial benefit will only accrue to motif when revenue is generated over and above motif inc'sliabilities. i haven't bothered to check what they are as i think it's all completely academic.i agree it's good news in the sense that it is clearing the decks for the RTO, but realistically investors just need to forget iclaprim.just my opinion of course.

agree with a lot of that Elsol. i think we can pretty much forget about iclaprim now.we may get something at some time in the future but as you say its not likely to be much and is at best highly speculative. i doubt the RTO candidate will have had any interest in iclaprim as a partial incentive for the deal.it will be all about the listing imo.it is starting to seem quite likely an RTO will go ahead but as a severely wounded survivor from st valentines day, I'm not expecting much personally. those who bought in in anticipation of the RTP or have averaged down may do quite well if we get the right candidate.gla

all the trades from 15.45 will have been buys.i was doing dummy trades throughout that period, which made this clear.nothing of great significance though.i do wonder if the IG margin changes have taken a toll today.today was a signifiant date in the changes and the overall negative sentiment on aim today was pretty palpable. just musing of course.

i think it i highly likely thompi. today was a critical point in the changes.i don't profess to understand them fully as I've never had spread betting account,but the overall weakness in the aim market today was palpable.
