yes bignose.i also worry about Zhovoronkov's continuing interest. there were two more articles about insilco a couple of days ago, commencing first clinical trial of molecule revealed by the huge news earlier. i haven't referenced them as they have no significance for DLI. if he resigns as DLI's CLO then we will know how the land lies. nothing to suggest that yet though.

morning all.bignose as you no doubt realise i have been more positive towards DLI than most on here,largely because felt it gave regent another string to its bow (albeit a very expensive one, i accept and because i feel that longevity as an investment concept has significant attraction as a growth area)(could turn out to be a fad but there does seem to be quite a lot of interest in the sphere). however i had not thought of the reason you suggest this morning and i have say that does makes some sense. ive said before that i expect further investment in this area ,but if we dont get it then the case for your suggestion grows stronger.good to see us feeling a little more positive re US this morning.thats really going to be the thing that makes or breaks. small beer in comparison i know, but encouraging see that there was a preparedness to get involved with a licence for FUM's med3000 even though no regulatory approval anywhere yet, so it can happen gla

agree with that completely bald eagle.my days of "ripping the fundamentals apart"are, alas, long gone.fum is a punt but after this weeks news it is ,in my opinion,looking stronger. the chinese regulatory regime is no less exacting than the EMA and FDA, so i find this weeks news encouraging. still a gamble though. gl

as we are now faced with a weekend of speculation, i thought i would contribute regarding the question of timing..personally i was expecting the name change to be RNSd this afternoon, either during trading, or after hours. presumably it would have been very easy to have the announcement ready be issued as soon as they had confirmation from companies registry that it had been completed. i would have assumed that, ceteris paribus, they would have wished to apprise the market of the completion asap, particularly in view of the problems over the initial announcement. does the fact that they are leaving it till monday suggest that they want maximum impact by combining it with other news? obviously there are a number of other possible reasons for leaving it, so I'm certainly not putting this forward in any forceful way. just musing.

my take is that they registered napster group ltd on the 26th jan to protect the "napster group"name from anyone else registering it before the napster group plc name could be registered. to register the napster group plc name they have had to change the ltd name to music company ,which will now allow then to register the new group plc name.i expect they have lodged both applications at the same time(yesterday) so expect formal announcement later today.i expect they will keep the Napster Music Company ltd as a subsidiary.

no oddy not factual at all I'm afraid. todays rns states specifically that fum continues to expect ema approval this year. not next year.fda, is, i agree.looking more like q2( or even q3 )2022, but the company has never suggested otherwise. there is nothing in today's RNS which is in contradiction of anything they have said since the med3000 process started.i also note the phrase "significant progress" in relation to ema review of technical file. perfectly possible will get ema approval within a few months, although obviously that will depend on what the review process concludes. neither of us knows what that conclusion will be. incidentally i did note your reference to china and russian approval earlier. im no expert, but i believe the china approval process is no less rigorous thnt ema or FDA, although there will no doubt be differences. as to russia,i may be wrong but I'm pretty sure i have read that the russian system is in fact extremely rigorous and protracted. so I'm not quite following your earlier thoughts (i assume you were seeking to suggest that fum are going or may be going for soft options.i do not think that is correct.)

morning bignose.yes good news on fum although some of the froth has come off now.this is the first real big news for fum,whereas regent had already had the ema news. also fum investors (i am one) will be hoping it will help with finance pressure of fda trial (although i agree with the poster who thinks we will still have a fundraise off the back of this, albeit possibly at a premium.)that said i always though the terms of the china deal for regent were very underwhelming.i wonder if the impurities issue,or whatever the problem actually is,may have contributed to todays fall, although how ell know such issues are known by hk traders i have no idea. i think heimdal is being overly pessimistic.we have these ups and downs all the time.not a huge volume today(although not tiny either) ,so agree its just day traders imo

haven't absorbed it all yet but first reaction is that compared with other china licensing deals I've seen, the cost bearing and profits division is very favourable. so this is is the specific region they talked about in the recent RNS.need to look at it in a bit more detail.
