It's a Pyrolysis plant. Hundreds, probably 1000s in operation Worldwide. It has many uses, not confined to treating waste plastics.

For waste plastic gasification, the 'magic' ingredient lies in the Catalyst used. All chemical reactions will be enhanced by Catalysts. A Catalysts is defined as a compound which increases the rate of reaction but does not undergo any change to itself. I have mentioned this before, that one of the best H2 enhancing catalysts is Nickel (Ni). However, it has a major drawback in that if there is Sulphur (S) present, the N readily combines with S to form Ni Sulphide, which 'kills' its ability to enhance the performance. The Catalyst used in nay process will be a closely guarded secret. The catalyst market in itself is a multi$B industry.

I posted recently on the 'timeline' of PHE and it's forerunners. It does show that it is not 'easy' to get the right plant to produce the required product. There are many obstacles. A key factor is temperature control in various parts of the operation. The initial 'high' temperature to gasify the plastic, in the absence of Oxygen (O2). then a different temperature to increase to production of Hydrogen (H2).

Whether a Pyrolysis plant is producing a gas or a liquid, 2 basic components must be right. The catalyst and temp. control. The process of getting the feedstock into the plant and the extraction of the product, does not require 'World Class Engineering'. The Catalyst however, may be 'World Class Engineered'. Different temperature zones in a furnace has been operated in the 'firing' of ceramic products for longer than anyone posting on here has been breathing.

As announced on 9 March 2020, Peel has signed an Option for UK exclusivity as developer of the Company’s DMG technology, subject to the successful completion of the acquisition of W2T by PowerHouse, and completion of this Exclusivity. Under this arrangement, the Company will licence its technology to the developer in return for the annual licence fee of £500,000 on each commercial project developed. PHE also gave Peel exclusivity on Building the FOAK DMG. Yes, that is true. Put the future of DMG in UK in hands of a 3rd Party Property Developer.

May '23. PHE acquires the entire shareholding of Protos Plastics to H2 ( The SPV company). Thus ending relationship with Peel.

June ;23 Acquired Engsolve.

Oct '23 moved to Bridgend.

Over the years various MOU, Framework Agreements signed.

Present time. No orders received for DMG. FEED done by Engsolve for DMG for H2 Utopia in Oz.

I can see Engsolve being 'sold off' if there is no really good news in the next month or so. It does not have the necessary income to warrant a 'stand alone' IPO. imo. However, if DMG does 'lift off', and Engsolves income drastically increases to 10s of millions, then an IPO is almost a certainty

Hence, it's trading figures have to be reported as per The Companies Act.

Divvyup' 'Don't you think 'focussing on Engineering services' will include sales of DMG and FEED services, plus 'system build' packages. Engsolve is the 'technical' side of DMG. I would venture to say that the majority of the reported £1m in Engsolve salaes were to PHE irt FTU.

Red has pointed out PHE's changing focus over recent years. H2 ( a plastic bottle can propel a car a km,), save the environment, only Syngas production, SAF.

My reasoning for mentioning Plastic Energy (PE) operations, and their TacOil, was simply to say that Pyrolysis can be a profitable operation. Obviously, PE has done their homework, and identified a liquid product of Pyrolysis, which has a market in forming new plastic products. And Syngas produced is used to heat the furnace. And since the operation is designed to produce a liquid, it will be operating at lower temperature than a furnace designed to maximise Syngas output. I think PHE is struggling with an 'Identity crisis', and has not yet decided on what its core market should be . It is becoming a 'Jack of all trades, and Master of None'. Time for leadership.

I am encouraged by being directed to a private Ltd Co, HQ, London. Plastic Energy. It has 2 working plants in Spain, and 2 further projects, in The Netherlands and France, being commissioned at the present time. They are all Pyrolysis plants with waste plastic as feedstock. It differs from PHE, in that their patented process produces Tacoil(tm). Rather bizarrely, It produces Syngas ( which it recycles to heat the furnace !), and then condenses the gas to a liquid, Tacoil, whichis sold to produce more plastic products. What encourages me is that this is a private company, not being funded by SH, but by the founders, Directors, and probably Venture Capitol suppliers. It is obviously profitable, and hence, no reason why DMG should not be a profitable operation.

I am still surprised, but more disappointed, that we have not received any 'process costing details' from BOD. With the news last month, that PHE has finally recruited a salesperson, we might get some action.
