The drop was because of the leaked deal, happens every time and I did say this could be the case before the RNS as it was drooping in UK then US, then UK...

The SP may be up around 5% now but it was £12.25 and trending up before the deal was leaked, not even half way back yet.

Carlye will have their own finance, they will package up the deal and sell (or at least try to) it on to others.

We did have the £14 and £15 predictions but I am fine with that but I was really I was comparing to you after you accused me of ramping, it is more or less clear in my post. Please tell me how just saying take a look at share is ramping and you saying "they think the acquisition strategy might pay off over the longer term" is not. I did not give a view so is it ramping when you put out views it is not!

Really! The SP is around 75p down (and trending up) when the deal was leaked.

Not sure what gold and raw materials have got to do with this, the O&G are relevant so is the interest rate on the debt and other O&G companies SP but also need to add in trust.

Another poor set of results with the usual excuses, jam tomorrow again.

But the simple truth is the shareholders are losing a lot of money for over 2 1/2 years now and in the end to a shareholder that is all that counts or at least should do otherwise what's the point.

That is all well and good and I wish you good luck but the fact is DEC has been an unmitigated disaster for long term investors not brought about by the markets, HH prices or political issues but solely at the door of Rusty, we got lucky with Trump but think where we would be now if democrats were in power pushing the green agenda and major issues with AROs (which will come back in the long term). If you are looking at long term with DEC a good idea would be to take a close look at the AROs as this is one of the biggest risks with DEC even bigger than the debt. There is a reason companies sell these assets to DEC which on the face of it look great value and the same reason they dump the shares which come with these deals ASAP on the market.

The truth is when Rusty does nothing the SP starts to rise and when Rusty has another cunning plan it tanks and Rusty just can't stop.

This is all jam tomorrow stuff, the IIs are fully aware of this long before we are but the fact is Rusty has put a huge debt burden on the company (around 3 times market cap) at high interest rates and keeps using shares for these deals which end up in the hands of companies that do not share you view as they are dumping them on the market as soon as they can. No matter how good the future may be for gas no one trusts Rusty to do the right thing by shareholders, he is not competent to run a company like DEC evidenced by the shares for dividends fiasco that kept changing until they eventually found it broke the rules, the fiasco of the biggest deal ever for DEC when he forgot to put the finance in place which lead to a fire sale of new shares, SP hitting a all time low and you can add in the many lies, giving himself free shares for trashing the SP.

It would not be so bad if we had a decent dividend but Rusty trashed that and those who bought just a few years ago are on a poor yield.

Rusty will never give up with a strategy that has demonstrable failed for the last 2 1/2 years so the SP has very little chance of going anywhere, even when HH was around $4 the SP was in the gutter.

The reason I used the word ramping is because when I just said take a look at some shares you accused me of ramping, I did not even say they might pay off and you say.

You say I am repeating, what is Rusty doing, 9 in row now and nothing changes.

Also what is longer term then, the SP has been down for around 2 ½ years, you seem to be convinced this will pay off so give me a date when the SP will recover to £22 which it was before this all started, after all you have 100% accuracy in predicting the highs and lows in hindsight. By the way this price does not take into account inflation and lost dividends due to Rusty trashing the dividends to pay for these acquisitions.

Any prediction on the 10th accretive acquisition that will trash the SP again, one thing I do know this will be long before the SP had a chance to recover much let alone get back to where it was 2 1/2 years ago.

I am selling at the right points and trading, almost broke even but back down a snake again, no point in just selling out at a large loss.

You are comparing this to AMZN so do you think this will perform as well, do you see any similarities, personally can't see anything similar, AMZN a new company in a fast rising market, DEC a company with mature assets in a mature market with a history of making moves that trash the SP.

Unfortunately this is what I stated and feared was a possible cause of the shares dropping, got this one right.

9 times in a row now that these acquisitions have lead to a drop in the SP, deja vu all over again. Rusty just cannot wait for more than a small recovery on the SP before he trashes it again. More debt on a company with already eye watering amounts of debt and a lot more share dilution, nothing new.

Good spot the $110m more debt that Rusty seems to have forgotten to mention in the RNS so of course no mention of the interest rate of the loan, this is no doubt going to be high which is more than we can say for the SP.

Now just wait for closed period for the new shares to be sold, going to need a lot more BBs as these shares are added to all the other shares recently issued that are being dumped on the market. Any one who thinks that the SP will fully recover is living in an alternative universe.

Expect a bit of a recovery in the SP (but no much) now as Carlyle is picking up a lot of the debt and perhaps not as bad as many have feared who heard the leek but obviously not going to see a full recovery Rusty won't allow this.

Same for me, there are some people on this board that just can't accept that DEC is a loser and if you point this out with facts you get attacked, insulted etc. Ramp up without any info and that is is fine reply with the info/facts and you are absolute loser, boring, repeating etc. I posted many trades on here when I buy and when I sell to show it is possible to make money from DEC and I was told it's not worth in, not making enough on some trades (these I sold to reuse the cash or to prevent losses), I am doing it wrong and should just held, funny that. As I have said a number of times if you do not like what I say just filter me, I really don't care.

I mentioned some shares to take a look at, all gone up most a lot and was accused of ramping and told I should not be mention other shares on this board. A few times I have said take a look at Uranium stocks in particular CCJ up 106% in a year, NXE up 48% in a year and SMR 358% in a year. Is this ramping or perhaps just letting people know there are better places than DEC.

As always happens when you state the facts that DEC has been a terrible investment and give reasons some people who disagree will either insult or be sarcastic as they have no other way to refute what you are saying and can't face the fact they lost money and don't want reminding of this. This is the problem with DEC that any rise in the SP is sold into probably by the lot who got the shares as part the deals and others who are just want to get out without too much loss. Given the huge amount of shares created as part of the deals this will probably hold back any chance of a recovery for a long time and dividends stuck for years ahead does not help. Our best hope is Rusty does nothing for a long time ,I fear any more debt loaded on will send the SP into a tail spin.

This is tax area which fell under her ministry and she voted for it to be increased, you have to ask what half wits are running this country.
