Must admit this is going well, bought more shares to trade after the drop as this is usually the low point just after one of Rusty's acquisitions and this one was not as bad as the Maverick deal but still more debt and dilution so not as bad as may have been suspected from the leak so got in quick this time.

It has become all too predictable, sell out when SP recovers a bit, wait for another Rusty cunning plan to be announced, buy back in sell out when SP recovers a bit. . . By the way this is another repeat, I have said this before. At this rate may break even soon.

He has done that a number of times in a much less covert way, I have had special mention misquoting what I said, I called him out on this and now he is more careful on his name checks, I take this as a badge of honour as he can't get anything right, he always predicts great things from DEC and SP is trashed. He even banded JIM from making comments on his site, one of the biggest DEC and Rusty fans. He is very sensitive to anything that does not agree with he views. I have a small holding in another company SQZ which is pushing in the same way he does DEC, same result SP is a disaster.

The question for you is do you believe him and the paid for target prices from the house brokers, if so buy as many DEC shares as you can, use margin to double your holding this time next year you could be a DEC millionaire.

If you believe these Target prices then another way to look at it is compared these to acquisitions, if DEC is lets say 60% undervalued (around Mizuho target price) then for an acquisition to be worth it the acquisition needs to be more than 60% undervalued otherwise the best financial use of cash is to buy back DEC shares. The situation is made a lot worse when new shares are issued to part pay for the acquisition if the acquisition is less undervalued than DEC. I would say there is very little chance these acquisitions are that discounted to this extent otherwise there would be a lot of interest from other companies and hedge funds and DEC would be making far more money given the number and size of recent acquisitions which is not born out in the accounts.

In other words if you believe this target price that DEC is heavily undervalued the only way to get to that value is not to buy any more assets but to sell off some assets and if these sell for more than a 60% discount then DEC's SP will rise or it will be even more undervalued. Or another way to look at it is he pays the piper calls the tune or in this case the target price.

Another one of Oakblock's "in one year Rodney we will all me millionaires" predictions, now remind me how many years has he been making these and how is the SP doing during this time.

Probably does not mean that much as volume is low in this market but DEC SP is down to $15.15, hope it is just a blip and not a leak of another Rusty cunning plan.

I did have my suspicions after reading the article did not look right but in general I have found from experience these targets don't mean much so I posted that.

It just lead to more abuse, it is really funny and I love it as it means these Rusty fans have no meaningful argument so they have nothing left but to throw out abuse which says a lot about their character and intellect.

Why are you so obsessed with the £1.40 price (and me), it was only at this price for a few days over 3 years ago. When it was that price I only had a small holding and bought for long term dividends. I did not sell at £1.40 as I do not have hindsight as I have told you many times.

I bought some more long after the £1.40 (old money) high (below £1.10) in my ISA and sold all of them at a small profit to stop paying withhold tax but this was a smallish position and at that time they were being held back because of AROs which were more in the news than the time they were at £1.40.

After I transferred my pension into SIPP bought DEC (as no with holding tax), price was from £18.10 - £16.52 and built up a much larger position, this is my investment part, since then the price just kept dropping. I did sell some of these at £13 within a few minutes of fund raise being announced and bought back in at around £9.00.

For trading bought many times from £12.50 - £9.00 and sold almost as many (still hold some for trading which are in profit, will probably sell soon), also bought and sold a number of the US $ shares, all trades are in profit some decent, some small but these I got out to prevent loses, overall with investment and trading in a loss, almost broke even just before latest deal.

You see the £1.40 is irrelevant, not only it is very unlikely you hit the all time high, only had a small position at the time and was not trading. Perhaps you can stop repeating this £1.40.

Yes because (I will need to repeat again for you) the drop was under his watch pursing a strategy that fails every time since the £1.05 raise, before then it was fine but things changed, interest rates went up, no chance of a fund raise at a reasonable price and no market appetite for companies with large debt. There are no significant external factors to account for the drop, if you disagree tell me who's responsible if it is not Rusty or what factors caused it as this did not happen to other companies in this area.

Message from HL, the email states there is "a deadline applies" and "you have limited time to act". The message on the website out today is about the latest B Share (which was put out in an RNS on 29 Aug, so HL well behind) and mentions delisting again which is not in the RNS but nothing about required action. I phoned HL to find out what is going on and they are going to get back to me.

Please tell me why you disagree, Reform are well ahead in every polls for a time now and Labour are panicking turning their guns on Reform and ignoring the Torys trying to bring in some watered down Reform polices, they would not be doing these if they did not think they are trouble. Reform will support the NS and get O&G flowing in much grater quantities. Seems obvious to me.

By 2030 we will be in a new world, Reform will be in power and NS will be back in fashion, it is all about holding on until the next election which can't come soon enough and hopefully before 2029, the new Peter Mandelson scandal and trade unions turning on Labour and the strikes will add more pressure on the totally failed Labour Government.

The problem is not only loss of revenue but confidence and therefore the SP, what is the next thing to go wrong, what will be the effect on revenue. This company looks accident prone and only a prolonged period with no breakdowns will fix this otherwise it will end up with the reputation of a train company.

It looks like all the equipment on Triton is a pile of junk, fix one thing then something else goes wrong. I believe this is something we bought from Mercuria the deal that just keeps taking.

Another one with fantasy stories, FYI my mother died in 2001 and yes she did live with me after my farther died, as an only child I had responsibilities. We sold both our houses and bought a small farm as it has a separate building which was converted into a granny annex with full facilities.

Well I see you have decided to have another go at me making out you know about my life, so I will tell you a little about it, I am certainly not sad or lonely, nice partner, to be married soon and off to Dubai to live for a time so I can close my companies without paying tax, then off to Gibraltar, just need to wait for new planning laws so I can put in for planning on the land attached to my house before selling it.

I do not regret not selling out at £1.40, where did you get this from? This is just a figure that has got into your head and you keep repeating that I should have sold out then and regret it, just another baseless story you made up in the alternative reality that you live in. I trade a lot and know it is rare you ever catch the high and if you know anything about trading you would understand. I do blame Rusty for trashing the SP from £1.10 (old money) and trashing the dividend, who else is to blame, not the markets as they are up, not the HH price, not the political situation which worked in favour of DEC, guess who is left. Who do you blame? Someone is responsible and it is not external factors.

I post a lot when posters mention me and as I am one of the few left who sees this how it is so I get a lot of flack. I apricate that you share information but just because you post infrequently does not make you the moderator of this board and feel that you must comment on the amount of times I post.

It is simple if you believe these targets buy as many as you can, buy on margin you could double your profit, post you buys as you make them and we can see if you really believe this stuff. I won't, I will just trade this share when I see a profit.

Was I wrong, I only use facts, in the last few years SP gone down from £22 and dividends 1/3 of what they were, fixed for years as inflation wears them away, what is there to like.

The trouble is Rusty does a deal SP goes down, it then goes back up a little and a number of people are saying what a great move this was forgetting what the SP was before and more dilutions, debt and shares in the hands of companies they don't want them to be dumped on the market after lock in period. Not so long ago the SP was £14.20 just before the Maverick deal.

Do you really believe these ratings, I seen so many of these for years on so many companies which never come true.

There is a saying in the city the target is set 10% above the SP, not actually true but is what the professionals think of them in general terms. I see a companies SP go down, then the targets go down, SP goes back up, targets go up but no change in underlaying fundamentals, these analysts tend to follow not lead.

There has been so many analysts predictions for DEC for years giving much higher SP and so far it has never happened, I guess we can hope.

It is true AROs are in the DEC accounts but there is controversy on this issue has DEC down played the costs, will DEC have the cash to pay for these when the time comes. I have some financial articles on DEC from intendent Financial analysts who have this as a significant risk and one of the reasons the SP is well below it's piers. For me it is an issue but not a show stopper but would not like to be invested in DEC if/when the democrats come into government.

For me I am looking at total shareholder return and in DECs case I bought mostly for dividends which as we all know are a shadow of their former self.
