RE: II moving shares to NYSE?10 Dec 2025 13:59

I have not even been sent this message or any other on the subject, I have discussed this on the phone a number of times and put in an official complaint. I was mislead in the phone conversation as it was stated that this was an instruction given to II by the company which I stated could not be true but just got it repeated.
“Following receipt of the new shares we will endeavour to move your new holding to the NYSE as soon as practical, and update accounts accordingly. This move itself can normally be actioned within 3 days, though delays can occur.”
This does not state clearly that if you do not sell your shares they will be moved to NYSE (it certainly caused confusion for some posters including myself as no other broker was doing this and was not in the RNSs), it certainly implies this but when asked on the phone to confirm this I did not get any statement this would happen but was given waffle and would be contacted by the corporate actions department which never happened. They say 3 days, it took a lot longer, should be performed when markets shut so no interruption or at the very least a much shorter time period.
II in general offer a good service but I find them intransigent, they have told me a number of times incorrect information and when pushed on the issues it became apparent I knew more than they did, they often admit this but prevaricate saying they need to get someone from the relevant department to contact me which does not always happen. A few times they have given way and either reversed their decision or just given me free trading credits to compensate for the mistakes, however sometimes when they are clearly wrong they will try to stick to their guns sometimes when they more or less admit their mistake they come up with other excuses and in some cases after being backed into a corner reverse it or pay a some compensation.
I have some complaints about this issue and another issues, one which they said they would hold off for 30 days from taking action as it was clearly their mistake so could give time for the issue to looked in to and resolution agreed and contact me in a few days for an update which did not happen. They then proceeded to move money around my accounts taking fees (which they said would be waived if this needed to happen). After contacting them about this they agreed this should not have happened but weeks latter nothing has been done. All I can do is wait for the complaints department to eventually look at these issues.
As I said before I would urge anyone who is affected by this to contact II and if not satisfied raise a complaint, nothing will happen if just 1 or 2 complain unless taken to FOM and complaint is up held.
