WHT of 30% without W-8BEN, 15% with unless in a SIP when 0%, however a number of brokers do not honour the W-8BEN and charge the full 30%, these tend to be ones owned by big banks like IWEB. I know HL, II, IG, AJ Bell will honour W-8BEN

Unless they either have info we don't have or think the SP placing price was not such a a bargain.

Anyway it is not a good look showing lack of confidence in the company and helping the weakness in the SP, some good news or failing that some directors buys needed to help the SP.

GG you told us you we taking a break, must be a small one or could you not resist to opportunity for schadenfreude when there was a day when the SP dropped.

Not sure if all the issues are factored in the price but just bought some for £8.62, thought it was worth the risk, time will tell.

Bought some ENOG at £8.62, bit of a risk short term on ME, but will see where it goes, see you DividendNomad on ENOG board and await the special dividend in 2025.

The DEC dividend to paid in $s will either go into Camerco depending on price or Tellurian around $95 now but will be paid $100 after Woodside takeover complete later this year or early next.

Something has spiked the price of YCA and Camero, both up by more than 2%, also other Uranium stocks up a lot more but Spot the same. May be just a delay in reporting Spot price, will see latter today.

I have checked a number of companies I have shares in and it is the usual suspects shorting them.

As far as ENOG is concerned the current price reflects the ME situation, I am hovering over the buy button currently but not quite there as there may be more to drop if ME gets worse or Oil starts to go down again.

I like both ENOG and DEC but I am concerned DEC will never reach it proper value as Rusty will use any opportunity to buy more wells pushing down the SP due to no money for dividend increase, BBs and also growing debt.

Must admit Energean looking very good and planning to take a position soon (If SP dips a slight bit more), the plus points to DEC are the dividend, growth, debt and the fact they are happy sell assets at profit to replaced these by some new assets, cut debt and repaying large amounts to shareholders in the form of a special dividend. DEC on the other hand happy to cut dividend and increase debt to stack up more assets. Of the 2 Energean much more responsive to shareholder value, also won't have a potential hit if Kamala gets in.

As I suspected for a time IIs like these 2 are increasing with the shorts as they are lending to the shorts, this has become a zero sum gain as far as other SP is concerned, one buy one sell.

If so that will give Kier Stammar's freebies a large boost, now over £100,000, should easily get well into 7 figures or perhaps 8 by then, what a change for Tory sleaze now Kier Stammar is the PM with the most freebies and only been in office a few months. Also Labour's funds will go through the roof with all the gifts from the unions after it gives more and more pay rises to poor train divers (only £70,000+ pa) and government workers. Still with 9,500 millionaires leaving the country this year should help keep all our taxes down.
