I did not say you said they were accretive, just posing the question, perhaps I should have made this more clear.

The question of BBs is do you in effect get a better deal on gas wells for your money by buying DEC shares (BBs) or the new acquisitions, I highly suspect BBs offer much better value.

We can not tell for sure if BBs would have much impact on the SP but logic says it would as same number of buyers chasing fewer shares + added confidence, also history tells us it worked. If you go back a time BBs would occur when SP dropped below 85p(old money) and SP was held above this level dipping only for a short time, once BBs stopped SP plummets. Other times when BBs have been at lowest level SP stabilises and then drops when stopped. Due to ESG agendas BBs have become the norm for a lot of O&G companies to soak up the ESG sales and IMO is something investors have come to expect.

This needs to be compared to BBs, I suspect BBs would have been far more accretive.

The last deal said it all, debt fixed at high level for 9 years when interest rate going down especially when hedges only 3 years. Also how much of DECs debt is fixed, I believe quite a lot so Rusty has locked us in to high priced debt while interest rates are falling, does not seem that accretive.

As you say the issue is negative is sentiment but this is not surprising as Rusty has shown no regard to the SP so to help with this Rusty must take the SP seriously instead of concentrating on the all the wells you eat strategy. Also if Kamala get in Rustys well buying may not look like such a good plan.

IMO the SP will not recover for a very long time unless investors are convinced Rusty has got over his well buying addiction which increased debts to huge level, trashed dividend and diluted shares.

However if HH rises to a high level and stays there or some assets are sold off either could lead to a debt reduction and dividend increase then the SP will probably start a serious recovery. Also BBs are very important to show confidence, burn the shorters but as we know not much cash due to buying spree. While all director purchases are good would like to have seen these at a much higher level especially other directors apart from Rusty.

There is a very good question one that Rrb1981 refuses to answer although been asked many times, Rrb1981 is probably either paid by the shorters, is short, some sort of green nutter or has mental issues.

If not paid by the post clearly has serious mental issues as unbale to stop repeating the same things, said ARO issue over 100 times and now states it as plugging wells.

At a guess this money has been generated since the last BB after paying costs etc. If this is the case then DEC are now taking BBs seriously and as DEC is a cash machine especially as HH is rising should see more BBs and SP rise.
