I always look at cost savings personally as a Pound saved is a pound earnt. But in a Company i look at it completely differently.
If your profit margin is 10% and you save A$12 million thats like signing a $120 million contract b4 the savings were introduced.
We just signed our biggest contract to date then based on that theory.

While it said a 4 day week for staff I didn’t read that directors & CEOs were on 4 day Week.

Unfortunately the World is what it is. I have 140 staff on reduced hours, reduced salary, unpaid holiday or Furlough but as like most directors around the World you will find them working a normal week like I do & every other boss Iam friends with during this Pandemic.

Airlines are looking at 90% + business income reductions, upto £500 million loans & 30 % job losses on top of other cost reductions.

Global hotel chains are cutting pay, laying off staff & cant pay their rent.

Restaurants & bars are doing the same.

All these businesses globally have one thing that we dont have. Existing debt.

Car companies looking at cost cutting everywhere. Nissan reducing costs by $2.8 billion

Cutting your cloth during these unprecedented times is the norm for most businesses.

With no debt and reserving cash we should come out the other side as things start coming back to some normality.

Over time, VSSAs have generally included more information and supplemental materials, and BMW’s VSSA is one of the most comprehensive and thorough posted to date. It is also only the second VSSA submitted that explicitly focusses on Level 3 technologies, and provides some insight into how a Level 3 system might work. It also highlights the fact that AV systems need more research and development before they are ready for consumers.

VCSELs are also ideal for another aspect of driver monitoring, namely identifying drivers by their facial features. This aspect is relevant for safety in that it can be used, for example, to adjust the seat position or the airbag for each driver.

Details shown on the Kia Korea site suggest the facelifted Picanto, which is due in Australia in the coming months, will see major safety upgrades over the current model.

The upgrades include the addition of safety systems such as lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert with Rear Cross Collision Prevention Assist, which can brake the car if the driver doesn’t, and the car’s forward auto emergency braking (AEB) system will also be capable of pedestrian detection.
