CAE Australia has secured a contract to upgrade an aircraft simulator and other training systems at the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Richmond in New South Wales.

Under the $26m four-year contract, the C-130J Hercules tactical transport aircraft will receive training systems upgrades as part of the C-130J Block Upgrade Program.

Most importantly, the company will return American plants that produce pickup trucks such as the Chevrolet Silverado to pre-coronavirus levels of three shifts. It also will begin reopening a plant in Texas on one shift that builds large SUVs such as the Chevrolet Silverado and Cadillac Escalade. All are highly profitable products for the company that are in low supply on dealer lots.

With many cars close to production or hitting the tarmac over the next 6 months or so, iam hoping for a good finish for the SP by end of 2020.

As car showrooms open and car companies do their best to attract buyers with attractive finance deals etc the more wealthy around the World, probably have more disposable income atm. No expensive holidays, weekly visits to fine restaurants for the time being so a new car has probably gone up the list if anything.

As the detailed technical specifications for these standards are currently being worked out, ETSC is calling for high standards to be implemented.
