Mobileye gets $50b then Intel said will keep 50% ish of shares. So Paid $15.3b then sell $25b makes a nice $10b profit on the sale price alone. While still owning half the Co.

With $25b in the bank it would certainly put Intel in the game. With Qualcomm kicking Intel ass ( from what ive read) in Auto then they could soon think they could do a Mobileye with SEE in a few Years and make a bundle.

Sure Qualcomm wouldnt want Intel owning SEE & i cant see it not being discussed as a scenario when you know someone has $25b in their pocket.

They want to buy a Chip Co in many reports but things can change!! I went in the shop for a pasty and came out with a bacon sandwich once. People change their mind.

Sure Intel must give it a thought after their success with Mobileye surely? Could it work? Who knows?

But anyone with a wedge in their pocket could be interested i guess.

Ford recently announced some very good sales numbers for its electric vehicles. Overall, sales increased 139% compared to last year.

“While industry semiconductor chip shortages persist, improved inventory flow in April delivered a significant share gain of 1.0 percentage point over a year ago with Ford outperforming the industry.” said Andrew Frick, Ford’s vice president of Sales, Distribution & Trucks. “Inventory flow bolstered stronger F-Series, Mustang Mach-E, E-Transit and record April Ford brand SUV sales. We are now shipping all models of the electric F-150 Lightning.”

The F-150 Lightning Leads The Way
Ford’s F-150 Lightning electric truck was a big part of the overall increase. The company recently launched sales of the Lightning, and increased interest gave them a boost. With press events, reviews coming out of embargo, and a great video showing the event on YouTube, Ford definitely had the opportunity to further boost sales beyond April.

Iam a big Fleet lover & cant believe no value in Brokers forecasts. Cenkos had over 300k connections by 2030 so massive potential. With legislation coming hes probably being more conservative than Nick in Auto on that Number imo.

Being really conservative ( the theme of the day )Even based on 50% discount for monitoring thats A$108m PA. To get to them figures by 2030 we will have to be hitting 30,000 + sales PA so thats another A$36m if working on 40% discount.

So $150m turnover min probably in Fleet alone & that could be way higher than that depending on discounts etc. Add Auto & Aviation & anything else that pops up it wont be long before $200-400m Turnover Co.

Companies buy other Companies for future profits & turnover, so how much is someone prepared to pay? £1 should be minimum really by the end of next Year. At that point future financial forecasts should be a bit clearer and our market share in al 3 divisions will be easier to forecast.

GM has been placing "Reserved" signs on a few car names over the past couple of months. In April, it registered to trademark Chevrolet FNR and FNR, which we assume refers to the 2015 concept car Chevy showed in Shanghai. That coupe celebrated 10 years of The Bowtie in China by imagining what a fully autonomous, shape-shifting EV of the future might look like. Then there was the Envision GX, the three-row Buick that we expect to get over after its debut in China. The automaker applied to hold LTX, which has long been rumored to be a new small-block V8 crate engine. And this month, on the same day GM applied to hold the name Corvette Grand Sport, it also applied for the name EXT. The last time we saw those three letters together on a GM product was the Cadillac Escalade EXT pickup, sold from 2001 to 2013.

Unlike patents, trademarks must be used to remain in force. The applicant can let the trademark die and then reapply; GM has filed for LTX four times in the past ten years. But it makes more sense if the applicant plans to put the mark somewhere. The last time GM filed to hold EXT was in April 2000, less than a year before the Escalade EXT arrived as a 2002-model-year offering.

This doesn't mean we expect Cadillac to resurrect its not-exactly-beloved pickup. But the return of names like Blazer, Ranger, Maverick, and Scout prove that reclaiming brand equity, even on a different kind of product to the original, is a popular and potentially profitable thing to do. Why not call the coming electric pickup the Silverado EXT, or give it an EXT trim level? It would work just as well with the electric Blazer or Equinox, too. You wouldn't hear us complain about a properly compact Blazer EXT pickup, either.

The highly anticipated Leap Motor C01 finally debuted at the 2022 Shenzhen Auto in China. Pre-sales of the vehicle already commenced from the 10th of May while deliveries are expected to begin from September. So if adding $80m month on average we may even be $1.5b by now?

Another small $27m to add to the $21m means we either have the potential to win 40 of $25m contracts or theres some big juicy ones in the $1b still?

My monies on a few juicy ones in the pipeline. Bigger $ mean more paperwork so iam hoping June/July some of them drop.

My monies on 1 or 2 RNSs over $125m soon to beat the old highest win so far. With GM & Ford in the mix and all those models coming out over next 18 months or so.

Ford's Rouge Electric Vehicle Center will see production output of the F-150 Lightning increase to 150,000 units a year. "The next few years promise to be the most exciting and transformational in our company's history," said Ford Blue president, Kumar Galhotra.

Production of the electric pickup truck kicked off in April this year and, already, the 2022 model has sold out.
