Until they start making a profit,PURP are worth the cash they hold.less than £50m.For all the good they are doing in enabling home sellers to save money,the shareholders want to see a profit otherwise it is all pointless.

If these analysts are doing their jobs and have done just a fraction of the research that you have,they will know that already.Maybe you are correct and maybe they are laying the foundations for something else,we shall see.The banks are going to want to see improved debt to equity ratios for housing development lending whilst the market is cooling off and JDS with his FD background,will have plans in hand to deal with that.

Do we smell another placing on the horizon,maybe some time next year?.

Hopefully there will be plenty of that in the future,but a fomal tie up might just dilute the focus with both sets of BODS having very different skills and ambitions ( so far ).Easy to see the benefits to both companies of JDS's new role,but not clear that a merger would provide any additional benefits.
