Vamosbien - I agree, there is a history of increase/decrease/increase, etc., which suggests that they have a problem and given clear evidence of

(1) from Dennis that ITM is now emerging from its 'dark place'

(2) kit is now being purchased in our key markets

(3) the great threat of Trump's anti-green stance as 'killing' green industries everywhere is now seen as nonsense in Europe and Asia.

I am unclear as to why they did not get out at our now 'lower lows'. Who knows what strategies they are running and what other instruments they are running? Watching the trading patterns and (exceptional) volumes of sales over the last few days suggests 'they' may have been buying on teh annoucements and as soon as the price peaked, started to sell, ppushing the price lower, then buysing back and selling again. Repeat untill price stabalises at a lower level by teh end of the day. Both ITM and Ceres show the same patterns - volme of sales very significantly higher than buys. That seems odd given that both have been falling significantly over the last 3/5 months ie if someone wanted out, they would have sold ages ago and not waited till we have started on a recovery path.

We shall see what happens. Shorters are in a sticky situation and face real 'climate change' in how Ceres and ITM are being seen.

Todays trading 4.9 times the average. Not very normal at all, a bit like the unusual price movement.

I am sure there is a correlation, but I have no idea who or why it is being driven this way.

This talk about selling to the Chinese for 3.50 is beyond nonsense. It clearly reflects the view of a disillusioned trader who is besotted with fear of making a loss.

Well, dumb, stupid trader, you now have the opportunity to be a smart investor. All you have to do is stop whining and do not sell. If you do that, you will make your losses back, and you will make a good return.

Catastrophising a poor situation will not make it any better.

Board readability and comprehension improves significantly when you use green page breaks.

Dcov - market have been rising since Trump was last president, as wages have risen, jobs created under Biden was 16m. The Donald is going to have to go some to maintain that momentum. We shall see how it goes.

Dibs - you and Cureboy are correct. Anything that is running or under construction will go ahead because there are jobs in play, and neither he nor the senators and congress members for those constituencies want to see closures and redundancies. Anything still on the drawing board - another matter altogether. Trump has form on this from his first term. It's a lot like every congressman wants to reduce excessive defence spending, but nobody wants to lose the bases and arms manufacturers in their backyard.

I think Trump has an altogether more challenging issue with his 'drill baby drill' plan. From the US producer's perspective, things are sweet at the moment, volume is high and prices are profitable. The USA is now the world's largest producer, and they are filling much of Europe's Russian LNG gap. The US industry has twice been badly stung in over-capacity after a rush of drill, drill, drill, rapidly followed by falling prices. These guys are not stupid and are not going to stick their heads in that pile of crap again soon, Trump can deliver expansion in permitting. Putting rigs on those permits is however not in his hands. Also, he is a one-term president - drillers have longer time horizons to consider.

For ITM - not much changes as we are weak in the US but much better in Europe.

There will be all manner of lunacy and mayhem - like shipping millions of undocumented 'aliens' back to Mexico. Until that is, the farming industry in the south and southwest USA collapses, hotels do not have enough staff, and house building either stops or becomes hugely expensive. Many things for US citizens to be deeply concerned about, but not much impact in Sheffield, I think.

The man has not yet finished his second week.

If he popped on Monday morning with a full and credible analysis of:

- where we are and how we got here

- where we are going and why

- how we are going to get there and what needs to be done - with a detailed credible and robust action plan for each of :

- design engineering and engineering design for manufacturing including design management and change control for manufatcturing

manfacturing - we still seem unclear as to how much in-house or contracted out - big big big decison that you do not make overnight. Making that decision takes us into labourforce numbers and skills, plant and equipment - building tiney numbers or flowline bulk manufacture

supply chain - what status and its fitness for purpose in line with the (yet to be decided) manufacture and/or contract out

strategy

selling/marketing - a whole world of uncertainties and 'to do's in there

finance - do we have enough to do all of the above - when we are not yet certain on what 'the above' means

So if he turns up Monday with 'the plan' and can give robust answers to all of the questions you might have - I would see him as some of incompetent/ a fool/ a fraud/ a liar (is that not want Bond used to do - and you want more of that???) . So I am pretty sure he is none of those - so you need to re-calibrate your expectations - big time.

Do some research on what Dennis Schulz has done at ITM. The detail of his turnaroud plan, how long he spent planning it, and the year it took him to implement it - hires, fires, whoesale systems re-design, new kit, new processes, new testing facilities etc. and he finished on schedule.

Do not under-estimate the internal sh*tshow that is AFC today - I am sure teh new guy still just starting to get an in-depth grip and come to terms with the Bond cluster-f*ck legacy

ITM is pleased to announce a partnership with Hygen, being appointed as their preferred supplier for Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolysers for hydrogen projects within the UK and across Europe. Hygen's goal is to implement up to 200 MW of electrolyser projects over the coming years across the UK and wider Europe, utilising ITM technology and equipment.
