@Alvarro: The share price back then was over a pound, it is now less than 16p and total turnover is up. They implemented a program of cost cutting but let’s see what the figures bring next week. I see that your history on LSE is only 7 posts and all on SHI with a negative slant, interesting.

CD&R don’t have to do anything, they are under the threshold and might welcome a new offer. Make no mistake, at 180 Mcap this company is so undervalued. They might be prepared to let them go for 35p? I know they have competition from the independents, but when the market cranks up, they have the capacity. If she floats towards 12p, I will be chasing her down. IMO, DYOR.

Trading update on the 9th of January and full year results on the 5th of March. I actually thought the Construction Industry would have flown with labour, sadly that is not the case and the first quarter looks challenging. Not an ideal scenario for a loss making company negotiating coupons for expiring bonds. I can see this drifting to 15p before the update and if the mood music is not positive, this could actually start rocking towards 10p. A couple of big months coming up for them. DYOR and all IMO.
