Yes, the covenants are an issue. A couple of years ago, I saw the debt was North of 200 Mil, so they did pay a chunk off with the RI. Obviously the writers strike would have hurt them in 2023, but if the figures for 24 show a vast improvement, this could fly. If it is the reverse of course they are technically insolvent.

15 minutes looking under the hood and the comparison between 22 and 23 results is a complete basket case. Operating profit swinging from 49 Mil profit to a 4.7 Mil loss, turnover decreasing by over 30% and debt of 128.5 Mil. Little wonder there is in trepidation before the 2024 results published in April. I get why the SP is where it is, especially followings fund raise 12 months prior. They should be flying in this expanding market. That said, at this price, there is value. I get the macro issues they faced in 2024, let’s hope it was a one off.

The SP movement looks strange, fundamentally a solid business. It looks good value to me, well worth further investigation.

Mcap 147 MN and t/o 2.76 Billion , what the feck is going on? I have never seen anything like this, it is screaming for a turn around. A big fat juicy target for PE.

That’s a lot of shares for PI’s to soak up. It is my guess that some II started loading up after 3pm, we will know soon enough. If they are, we should see another 10% plus day tomorrow.

The SP will have to start motoring if we are going to retain 250 status, on the 7th of Feb we were position 342 and automatic throw out is 375. I reckon a minimum Mcap of 375 Million is needed. It could happen.

@MrGonzo, it was always that the short had to be logged by 3:30pm the trading day after the short was made or increased.

You always hear that rubbish after a large sell off, ‘The II’s must be off-loading’. I reckon that at the most, 5% of shares capital was rinsed through yesterday. What you will see in the coming days, is that that nervous PI’s sold out. Further to that trapped day traders would have had to bale out late afternoon, I am expecting a blue day on Monday and an offer in the coming weeks.

They jumped in on Thursday or probably Wednesday, which was great timing by them.
