He is a PCA to a director, (Person Closely Associated) which often carries more gravitas towards the perceived share value. He has thrown 170k at it, so not small change. That said, I think he sold some a few weeks ago at 14 quidish, so in the future I will follow him.

@Invatrat: The latest buyback deems that all the shares will be cancelled and not held in treasury. It is my belief that the majority of buy back shares have been cancelled. You are correct in what you state about Treasury shares, I don’t view a buy back unless they have been cancelled. That is not the case with BP.

Putting in another bid for Entain that is for sure.

It will hit 1000p before Christmas, no worries. Even with the 28% hike form the low in the last couple of weeks, it is still the best growth share in the FTSE 100.

@Ham. Agreed, but yesterday’s volume still less than 1% of share capital. More leverage with a short attack on thin volumes.

I see that Flutter have put a 1 Billion pound bid in for Betnacional, Brazils 5th largest operator with 7.3% market share. Entain is 3rd in Brazil with 9.4% share. In this industry everyone wants to get bigger, Entain is a big fat target with its fingers in some interesting markets.

24 million rinsed through on a handful of trades.

That is some reduction and the momentum is extremely positive, it looks like the ship is being settled.

Moving up nicely now, the proof is in the pudding and if the figures are positive , this baby is going to fly.

They are going to get punished today, I don’t think you will see an all time low, but I can see it sliding below 20p.

It tells you how much this was overdone last week, when it is punching 3% blue on a bloodbath day. Allowed me to trim a bit to park some in the WG.

Struggling to buy, will only let me buy below 3k tranches, what a price.

And I wouldn’t be surprised to see it at £12 in the coming months.

The last rejected offer was 16b and the Mcap is now less than 3.5billion. This is now looking vulnerable for PE, they could probably pick it up 6-7 Billion.

Already down 27% since close on Wednesday night, based on figures which were primarily exceptional charges. The FTSE is a circus, the tail wags the dog in the City these days.

I have taken a few at this price, a solid company in a jittery market. Risk off sentiment is very strong and few traders will want to be holding over the weekend with the ME situation.

The auction looks nasty.
