Yes I sold £25k worth at £1.50 in the hope it would drop to below £1 to buy back in, arhhh! Barclays wouldn't consider the placing, that would have been nice.

lots of stories coming out about people testing positive weeks after isolation or having being tested negative and being asymptomatic but then testing positive again. If that is a trend then testing will be here and everywhere for a while.

I also heard through my broker that the placing was massively oversubscribed and the pro-rata was reflective of the existing share holders not the overall number subscribing for shares... they had not seen anything like it (their words).

I also am developing a test that can do it in 10 seconds but unlike everyone else mine is based completely on wishful thinking rather than established robust and proven technology. There seems to be a lot of wishful thinking around so I'm pretty confident my test could work, at least to a sensitivity of 50%

JAdam, on that we agree, I think a lot of COVID shares are overpriced. I also think the share price here has room to move once news on sales comes in and that could be significant because of the positioning of the test and the POC aspect. I actually think the share price is being driven by retail investors, those who have successfully bought now selling their existing shares to bag the profit on the basis that the share price will recover. It's not the institutional investors imo. Once done, the price will receive, may even end a little blue today but all opinion ;)

JAdams, and somewhat ironically it will be the PI's that have received their prorata allocations that will be the ones to sell, go figure!

JAdam, many II's are current holders, IF they wanted to sell the smart thing would have been to sell their current stake down, but the lack if T1 statements shows that has not been the case. Calculus being the only II to have sold a few.

I think so, I've heard the demand for share will be strong today and many sold to cover positions that won't materialise so could be a very interesting start to the day...

what's predictions for today, continue to track down based on nose to spite face, or start the climb up based on income coming in the short term?

to be fair as the offer looks to be significantly over subscribed the Company was never going to make everyone happy. Onwards folks, let's get this test into labs and bring revenues in now, the share price will go up and we can all be happy again :)

My issue is a lot of these antibody tests have given exaggerated sensitivity clams based on initial poorly designed studies. 100% sensitivity is almost impossible.

59 pre-selected known positives... proof of principle study not a clinical study.

Absolute tosh for quotient to say their test has 100% sensitivity - based on a sample size of 59 confirmed positive samples, wholly irresponsible imo. Given the scale then the sample size to provide that data should be much larger and be based on blind randomised sample set.

@newbie GDR is a PCR test and is not an antigen test just to be correct
