@david I take the view that the opportunity is such that a number of poc systems will be successful. My personal opinion with LAMP based tests such as the OptiGene test is that there are no clinical diagnostics success stories. Despite many attempts qPCR remains the front runner in terms of sensitivity and robustness to interfering substances. That’s not to Optigene haven’t cracked it, but I have my doubts as I did about Abbott when they launched their isothermal tests which long term posters will remember I questioned on sensitivity too. It was recently shown to be indeed an insensitive test... time will tell

I’ve been in UJO and made some good profits there despite some shareholder shenanigans. I think you have to go on the fundamentals and try to balance in a risk which is huge with those types of companies. Definitely only worth ‘betting’ small as you’ll more often than not loose it... research, research, research and hold your nerve if the fundamentals stay the same.

Next week a blue week here I think, hopefully David knows to trickle news every week now as it builds into a diagnostics business at last. I’m so happy to be in this as we have a great business here, UK plc doing its bit, innovation at its best guys!

It looks like BGF Investment Management Limited are increasing their holding here. A shame they simply didn’t buy direct from calculus? Did I read this correctly from today’s RNSs, perhaps they did. Not to bothered about the supported market cap, when fda, who and sales revenues come in this discounted level will be left behind. £3 target in June realistic??

I’m really hoping they do something with Covid and brain or lung analysis, it seems a no-brainer if you excuse the pun! In the meantime I’ve set my new entry point below £2.50, it’s doggedly not performing as I’d hoped...

A few vaccines being developed, a long way off being ready, irresponsible putting them out too soon as they can do more harm that good if they don’t protect adequately or if they give transient protection. Regardless they’ll need to test test test

... the drop has to be a few people selling on the expectation, if you'd watched the news you wouldn't surely go any buy-in straight away anyway. This afternoon will be interesting either way, weekend coming, another interview coming, collectively I think they're a powerful endorsement of how the company is run and the products now in market

not sure what people don't get here, we have product in market, the only pre-dosed SARS test in the market place that has a global reach. They seem to be trading on whether or not the CEO is a showman or an honest Joe... time will show our test will stand the test of time

@saint I totally agree. no 'roll up, roll up' showmanship, more 'steady as she goes' careful, methodical and honest.
