It's my belief that a lot of the selling has in fact just been market sentiment waiting for the 'right' news, that may differ company to company but the expectations have been set at similar times.

Next touch lite for us will be sales orders.... 100% from here imo

@Janiax, agree, at the moment Avact has more visibility than Genedrive, that will soon change with sales and the sentiment will come here for the next uplifts

I agree, market cap should be between £100m and £200m in my opinion, based on a minimum of ca. £50m in sales coming very shortly...

On balance I think the drop is entirely due to the MM placing large sell orders for the II's 80p placing and simply managing the price based on daily PI trading. The good thing is that there is good demand for the shares. Once the II's are happy with their positions and stop selling they can pick up again and the share price will rise rapidly to a market cap reflective of sales and opportunity. It can only go one way, eventually, and they know that so happy to drop and buy in lower. IMO

Thanks BB. Bottom line is regardless the II's are there to make their clients money and are masters at how and when to buy and sell so that they always benefit to the maximum they can. I am confident this is all part of that and we shall see this go up 50%, 100% again on our way to the correct valuation on the news as and when it comes in, we are guaranteed some moves up in share price

This could easily go 100% from here, what I'm not sure of is with the larger trades (assuming that they don't appear on the L2 books) how they then affect the share price, it must be the smaller trades throughout the day, then are these larger trades simply passing through so that they don't raise the price. Not transparent.

I think B. is probably the answer, they have no need to hold them, best sell and distribute bonuses

the large delayed trades that appear, let's say someone sells £50k of shares, is this the amount someone buys as a lump or is it split into a number of smaller trades, if so are these shown as smaller trades and not a single large trade if you know what I mean - i.e. is what you see on the trade table the actual size of the sell/buy. Otherwise I then don't understand why there is a delay in showing them

We 'should be stockpiling supplies' - will the UK do that? We seem to be poor at planning and contingency, good at reacting and getting stuck in when the problem is a problem, I suspect we won't be stockpiling here but many, many countries will be and those are Genedrives markets! Just my cynical opinion

I agree Olderandwiser, this is an opportunity for the company to have real commercial success, they have a very good product and an enormous market, if successful it will set the company up for the long term. The opportunity is theirs to take, let’s hope they do so...

As well as sensitivity I’m not sure these tests are room temperature stable meaning that genedrive will be significantly more practical. Portability an issue too I think.

Hope we get some commercial updates this week or next. I’m keen to understand if this is a U.K., EU or US / rest of world opportunity.

Lamp isn’t sensitive and really has no benefits over qPCR especially with genedrive at poc. There are no wide use lamp based tests, they always fall down eventually.

trying to work out why with such grid news and consistently achieving the milestones laid out, that the share price is falling. Are the II sells sucking in other sellers and will we see TR1's for the large buys? Is it just that it's a slow day in terms of volume?
